Ads for products similar in construction to weapons can be placed on Yandex Direct. For example:
air guns with muzzle energy lower than 3 joules (excluding rifles)
bows with draw weight no higher than 27 kgf
crossbows with draw weight no higher than 43 kgf
markers, rifles, and pistols for airsoft and paintball
underwater firearms, electric fishing rods
souvenir knives and skinning knives
antiques and models of firearms, except firearms designed to shoot blanks
Ads in this category cannot be placed as a Display banner under the search bar, Premium banner in search results, Mini banner in search results, Premium billboard, nor can they be placed in Telegram channels.
Your ads and landing pages must meet all requirements of the law “On Advertising”. For example, the ads must not refer to the product advertised as a weapon or indicate that its intended use is for hunting. You can only use images of products that resemble weapons if it is obvious that the image is not a weapon.
Text ads will automatically include the notice: “Products similar in construction to weapons”. The text of the notice does not depend on the content of the specific ad and cannot be changed. For image ads and video ads, you need to add this notice yourself. More information about notices.
