Placemarks for extended parkings located along a class 8 road and not requiring additional drawing of an area object are placed at the geometric center of the specified parking.

The “lawn” type can now be used for vegetation polygons, provided they include trees and all of these trees are detailed on the map.
Sections that are completely covered by grass or occupied by trees with detailed representation on the map belong to the “Lawn” type. If the section has bushes or trees (even on its small part) and none of them are drawn on the map, then the section belongs to the “Urban vegetation” type.

Clarified that streets may not be linked to a level 4 administrative division (“Locality”) if it's impossible to establish the existence of the locality, or if there are open sources confirming that the street belongs to a higher-level administrative division.
Streets are linked to localities (or municipalities if the country is divided into municipalities and doesn't use the term “locality”, like Türkiye or France), except in cases where it's impossible to establish the existence of the locality to which the street belongs, or you know that the street belongs to a higher-level administrative division.
If two streets in the same locality share the same name, link them to the districts or blocks where they are located according to official sources.
If you can't find information about a street's location in official sources, then link the street to the district or block that it is generally considered to belong to.

You can draw stairs, escalators, and moving walkways as separate areas in indoor maps if there's a free (or partially free) passage underneath them.
These items may be (but don't necessarily have to be) added to the map when one can freely navigate the floor despite the presence of stairs, escalators, moving walkways, and the organization located below them.

Regulated the rules for coordinating places and linear items in Yandex Map Editor.
Places must be geometrically consistent with linear items at all map scales (up to 18 inclusive) when they comprehensively display the same object: for example, a parking placemark and the entrance to that parking.

Described the “seasonal” attribute used for temporary bike paths.
This attribute is enabled for designated on-site bike paths that have a documented location and use span (only employees can edit the attribute).
When drawing or editing the attributes of these bike paths, bike accessibility on nearby roads doesn't change and is set in accordance with the general rules of attributing similar items.

This attribute is automatically enabled when creating a section of the road network (except for class 9 sections) and should be disabled if there's publicly available information that there's no pavement on site.

You can draw a sidewalk as a separate line of the road network in places where pedestrians access the territory through a gate (in addition, mark the gate as an entry/exit restriction). You can draw a separate line for the sidewalk in this case, but it's not mandatory.

You can draw main paths with no restricted entry even if they are not actually physically marked.
When drawing such paths, go around field/playground objects. Do not draw paths through goal posts or football “pitches”.

- Streets are linked to any division of level 7 (Block) or higher that completely encompasses them (except for Named territory divisions).
- You can link streets directly to municipalities that fully encompass them. However, we recommend linking streets to administrative divisions of lower levels.
