General instructions
To link a domain, you need to be its owner and verify it.
If you plan to use the domain to send and receive corporate mail, configure the DNS records for it. If you delegate your domain to Yandex DNS servers, the records are configured automatically, and you can manage them directly in Yandex 360 for Business.

Configure DNS records
If you delegate your domain to Yandex servers, all records are configured automatically.
- If you don't want to delegate your domain to Yandex servers, configure DNS records for your domain on your registrar company's website.
Delegating a domain means transferring domain management to the selected DNS server. You can delegate the domain to Yandex DNS servers, which will then store and manage service information about your domain.
If you delegate your domain:
The DNS records required for Yandex Mail (MX, SPF, and DKIM) are configured automatically.
You can manage DNS records directly in Yandex 360 for Business.
To delegate your domain to Yandex servers:
- Log in to the admin account for the company.
- Go to the Domains page.
- Make sure your domain status is Verified.
- Open the domain control panel on your registrar's website and go to the DNS server management (delegation) section.
- Delete the existing record values. Set the values of the primary and secondary DNS servers as follows (the initial letter “d” in the names is not a mistake):
- Primary DNS server:
dns1.yandex.net.
- Secondary DNS server:
dns2.yandex.net.
If the delegation settings have fields for entering IP addresses, leave them blank.
Go to the domain management page and make sure your domain status is Delegated.
If you want your domain address to redirect users to your website, make sure that the website address is linked to the domain name. To do this, check the domain A records in the DNS editor in Yandex 360 for Business.
An MX record points to the server that receives mail for your domain. If you want a Yandex server to process your mail, you have to create an MX record that points to this server.
SPF records reduce the risk of an email from an address on your domain ending up in the recipient's spam folder.
With a DKIM signature, the email recipient can be sure a message actually came from the alleged sender. To set up a DKIM signature for emails sent from your domain, create a TXT record with a public signature key for your domain.
Record type | Subdomain name | Priority | Value |
---|---|---|---|
MX | @ | 10 | mx.yandex.net. |
TXT (SPF) | @ | n/a | v=spf1 redirect=_spf.yandex.net |
TXT (DKIM) | mail._domainkey | n/a | Copy the value from the domain settings |
