Managing bids in your store account
In your store account, you can manage the positions of your offers on the product profile, in the Yandex.Market search, and in the Yandex.Market section in Yandex search.
Selection of offers
On the page Управление ставками (“Bid management”) use the search bar to find a given offer or to find several similar offers with a common word in their titles.
You can assign bids to each offer individually, or combine multiple offers into a group based on a common feature (for example, products with the same margin) and then assign bids to the entire group at once. How to create a new group:
Find one or more offers via the search bar. Click on offers to select them.
Press (“Actions → Move to group → New group”).
Enter a name for the group and save the changes.
The new group will appear to the left of the list of offers. Go to the group, analyze the positions and set bids.
Analyzing positions and recommendations
Analyze the current positions of your offers, as well as the recommendations for bid amounts that will allow to occupy high positions or obtain a placement location.
In the left part of the field Ставка (“Bid”) your bid amount is indicated. In the right part of the field your minimum cost per click (CPC) is indicated.
A dash in the section Текущая позиция (“Current position”) means that your offer didn't obtain a placement location due to a low bid.

Setting bids
For a specific offer
To set a bid amount that is recommended by the system, click on the value in the recommendation bar:
The bid amount will immediately be updated in the field Ставка (“Bid”). Press Сохранить (“Save”) at the bottom of the page.
To set a custom bid amount, enter it manually into the field Ставка (“Bid”):
Press Сохранить (“Save”) at the bottom of the page.
Note. If you specify a bid amount smaller than the minimum, the value will be highlighted in orange and the actual bid amount will be set to the minimum.
For multiple offers simultaneously
If you want to set bids for several offers simultaneously (for example, for all the offers in a group):
Click on the offers to select them.
Press (“Actions → Set common bid”). The window Ставка для группы предложений (“Bid for group of offers”) will open.
Enter the bid amount in Yandex units.
Save your configurations: in the window, click Проставить (“Apply”), then click Сохранить (“Save”) at the bottom of the page.
FAQ
How can I know whether a bid was applied?
One of the following status icons will be displayed next to the bid offer:
— Bid applied.
— Updating bid.
— Bid not applied due to product unavailability or the occurrence of an error.
When you click on the status icon, a hint with additional information pops up.
Why did a red icon appear by my offer?
The red icon means that either the offer was removed from the price list or that its name was changed. A product with a changed name is interpreted as a new offer. You can delete the offer, or it will be deleted automatically after 30 days.
Why is the bid amount highlighted in orange?
Orange highlighting means that the current bid amount is greater than the amount you entered. This may happen for several reasons:
- Your specified bid is less than the minimum

You entered a bid that is less than minimum for this item (your bid is shown in the left part of the field and the minimum allowable bid is shown on the right).
If you keep the bid amount, the minimum bid will still be applied to the product (i.e. with a higher value than what you entered). When this occurs:
The field with the bid will continue to display the bid that you entered, not the bid that is actually being used.
The bid will still be highlighted in orange.
- The bid was lowered

You lowered your bid amount, but your previous, higher bid is still being applied. Wait until the bid update on Yandex.Market (about 4 hours). Once the data is updated, the orange highlighting will disappear.
What does the dash in the recommendations section mean?
The dash means that there is no bid amount recommendation. Possible reasons:
The product couldn't be found. The product is not currently published on Yandex.Market, or the product name was changed.
The position is unattainable due to low relevancy of the offer.
The position is unattainable because a competitor is using the maximum bid.
The position is unattainable because the offer belongs to a category of Yandex.Market products that aren't shown in Yandex search results (for example, products in the “Ножи (Knife)” category).
An error occurred during bid selection. Try again. If the error is repeated, contact the Support service.
