Route recommendation in Geoservices
Yandex Navigator is a mobile app for drivers that plans routes to avoid traffic jams, warns about cameras, and helps you pay for fuel without leaving your car.
Route recommendations are an ad format that is shown when creating a route. The user will see an offer to stop at the advertiser’s point of sale on the way. Recommendations appear before the user starts travelling, and allows you to get more attention to your brand and attract visitors to your retail outlets.
How it works
Adverts are embedded natively into the user scenario. While the user is creating a route, the recommendation is shown in the form of an additional choice on the route option selection panel. The navigator only offers places that do not significantly affect travel time. When clicking the recommendation, the advertiser’s point will be shown as an intermediate point on the route, and the user can then start travelling along the new route.
This is an advertising format charged by CPA, i.e., you only pay for the start of a journey on the new route containing your point of sale.
This format is suitable for advertisers who have several offline points in a city, and organisations that people often visit on their way somewhere else, for example fast-food chains or retailers that sell everyday goods.
