Agency Certification confirms an agency’s baseline competence and helps keep the public partner directory accurate by reflecting agencies that are currently active.
What you receive
- Certified Partner status (valid for one year)
- Product badges that reflect your areas of specialization
- Eligibility to be listed in the public partner directory while your certification is valid
To receive Certified Partner status, an agency must earn at least one product badge.
How eligibility is assessed
Total product spend
Total product spend is based on actual delivery spend (ad serving / run spend) that was paid, excluding bonuses.
Spend evaluation windows
Badge eligibility is evaluated using rolling spend totals over:
- the most recent 12 months, or
- the most recent 6 months
You can qualify for each badge by meeting the threshold in either window (6 months or 12 months).
Early qualification: If the required threshold is reached earlier, the agency may be awarded the badge as soon as the threshold is met (based on spend calculated as of the eligibility check date).
Advertiser (Counterparty) IDs
Some badges also require a minimum number of Advertiser (Counterparty) IDs (unique advertiser accounts). This requirement applies only where explicitly listed in the badge thresholds.
When eligibility is checked
Spend and Advertiser (Counterparty) IDs are checked once at the time of certification/badge issuance.
Product badges (specializations) — thresholds (USD)
Yandex Direct (Ads Campaigns)
- Spend: at least USD 20,000 in the last 12 months or USD 10,000 in the last 6 months
- Advertiser (Counterparty) IDs: at least 2 in the last 6 months / 4 in the last 12 months
Ads Space
- Spend: at least USD 10,000 in the last 12 months or USD 5,000 in the last 6 months
- Advertiser (Counterparty) IDs: at least 2 in the last 6 months
In-App Ads
- Spend: at least USD 8,000 in the last 12 months or USD 4,000 in the last 6 months
Ridetech
- Spend: at least USD 10,000 in the last 12 months
Geo Ads (Maps / Navigation)
- Spend: at least USD 5,000 in the last 12 months
(Early qualification applies: the badge may be awarded as soon as the threshold is met at the time of the eligibility check.)
Certification test (format and content)
Certification is completed via an online multiple-choice test.
- Modular format: take only the modules relevant to the badge(s) you are applying for
- Practical focus: setup, launch, optimization, measurement, and key compliance topics
Validity, directory updates, and renewal
Validity
- Certification is valid for one year from the issue date.
Public directory updates
- The directory is refreshed in early February and early August.
Additions may also be made between these updates once requirements and the test are completed.
Renewal/removal
- After expiration, agencies have a two-month renewal/reactivation window.
If not renewed within this period, the agency is removed from the public directory.
Adding badges during the year
- Agencies may add new badges during the certification term.
- The certification end date does not change when new badges are added (all badges share the same certification end date).
