Email templates

If you don't want to create an email layout from scratch, you can use a template. You can select one of the common templates (available by default) or a saved template created for your company's use.

You can find templates on the Email contents page. To open it:

  1. On the panel on the left, click Create mail-out.
  2. On the mail-out creation page, go to Email contents and click Add.

Common templates

The Common templates tab contains email layouts available in Send by default. You can use them for your mail-out or create new templates based on them, tailored to your company's needs. Here are some examples of common templates:

  • Message: Add short emails, for example, with surveys or notifications.
  • Black Friday: Create mail-outs with sale season offers.
  • Promos: Tell your customers about the ongoing promotions, new products, or special offers.
  • Discover: Share company updates with your subscribers.

Saved templates

Restriction. You can add no more than five templates for one company.

You can find all of your company's templates on the Saved tab.

Add a template

  1. On the Email contents page, click Create in the online Builder or select an existing template as the basis for a new template.
  2. Put together the email in the Builder:
    • Clear the layout. In the upper-left corner of the Builder, click Clear message to remove demo boxes from the layout.
    • Configure the email grid (for example, add columns for text or space for images). Select the Layout tab on the left panel and drag boxes with the right number of cells to the layout.
    • Add components. On the Simple tab on the left panel, select email components (text fields, images, or buttons) and drag them to the grid cells.
    • Set basic properties for the component (for example, the link address or button size). Select a component in the layout and open the Settings tab on the right panel.
    • Customize the component appearance. Select a component in the layout, open the Styles tab on the right panel, and set parameters. For example: horizontal and vertical alignment, text size and font, background, and so on.
    Important. Be sure to add the Unsubscribe link component to your template. According to the service terms, you can't send a mail-out without an unsubscribe link.
  3. Click Save as template in the upper-right corner.
  4. Enter a name for your template and click Save.

Edit a template

  1. On the Email contents page, select a template to open in the online Builder.
  2. Edit the template.
  3. Click Save as template in the upper-right corner.
  4. Enter a name for your template and click Save.
  5. If you no longer need the original template, you can delete it.

Use a template

  1. On the Email contents page, select a template to open in the online Builder.
  2. Edit the template components as you need for the email.
  3. Click Next. A preview of your email will appear on the Email contents page.
  4. Click Next.

Delete a template

  1. On the Email contents page, select the Saved tab and find the template you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the template card.
  3. Confirm deletion.
