Terms and restrictions

If recipients report your company's mail-outs as spam, your access to Send may be restricted. To avoid that, follow the terms of use:

  • Don't use the service to send spam.

    Spam includes:

    • Information or advertisements sent without the recipients' consent.
    • Phishing emails, any information about payday loans, casinos, pre-approved loan offers, making money online, infopreneurship, lotteries, and emails containing pornography.
    • False or misleading information, including such information sent on behalf of other people, companies, or services, or from fake addresses.
    • Emails sent to “role-based” addresses belonging to companies and associated with generic roles and functions rather than individual employees. For example, support@, admin@, info@, no-reply@, and so on.

    Follow our recommendations so your emails don't end up in the spam folder.

  • Make sure your mail-outs don't violate the law.

  • Using Send for sending emails classified as advertisements by law makes you an advertiser and advertising distributor. It is your responsibility to ensure the quality of advertisements and of your recipient database.

  • Send emails only to those recipients who explicitly consented to receiving them.

  • In the email, include an unsubscribe link that's clearly visible (as per Article 18.1 of the Russian federal law “On advertising”).

The use of Send is governed by the “Yandex 360 for Business” offer and the Yandex Mail license agreement.

Penalties for violation of the terms

If you violate the terms, access to the service may be restricted.

Sending spam or using a low-quality database of email addresses

Based on users' reports, an email service may classify your email as spam.

Consequences

Bulk sending spam emails or using a low-quality database of email addresses may lead to negative consequences:

  • Mail-out cancellation. Your message won't be delivered, and the remaining number of mail-outs in your plan will be lost with no refund.
  • Account suspension. Both the user who sent spam and the companies they are an administrator of may be banned.
Suspicious user activity

The following user activity is considered suspicious:

  • Switching to a more expensive plan for a short time for the sole purpose of sending mail-outs.
  • Bulk creation of fake companies for sending similar mail-outs.
  • Circumventing the rules to abuse the functionality of other Yandex 360 for Business services, including repetitive actions performed by the same user in different accounts for profit.
Consequences

If you're involved in suspicious activity, the following actions may be restricted for your account:

Both the violating user and the companies they are an administrator of are banned from using mail-outs.

How to determine the available number of mail-outs

The limit is reset daily at 00:00 Moscow time (UTC+3). For example, if you've already sent 10 real mail-outs today, another 10 mail-outs will become available only after midnight.

Note. The number of emails you can send at this moment depends on how many emails have been sent in the last 30 days.
How to determine the available number of emails

Suppose a company is on the basic plan with the limit set to 1500 emails. Recently, two mail-outs were sent:

  • 500 emails 25 days ago
  • 700 emails 15 days ago

The available number of emails at this moment is 1500 − 500 − 700 = 300.

If 300 emails are sent in the near future, the limit will be reached.

In five days, 500 emails will be added to the available number because 30 days will have passed since the moment the first mail-out was sent. In another 10 days, 700 emails will be added to the available number, and so on.
