We booked a table at Jules Verne on our last day in Brest. The cuisine here is European, there is a sufficient selection of dishes. The restaurant is large, and there were many places to sit. We ended up staying on the veranda. We ordered eel, steak mignon, milanese (an analogue of schnitzel) and zucchini fritters. They clarified the roast for the steak and executed it perfectly. The meat was melting in my mouth🤤The rest of the dishes were just as amazing. I recommend cocktails too. I came to Brest for one day, after visiting the fortress, I wanted to have a delicious meal and my choice fell on Jules Verne. It's a very atmospheric and cozy place. Polite staff, and especially the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name). The staff is well-trained . I give them an excellent score. Kitchen - 2 points. It's not delicious. For example, my salad with chicken and avocado, risotto ( liquid rice porridge with shrimp). The ribs were salty .. it is impossible to eat : as compensation, they were given a side dish for free. There are two birds in the room. Toilets (2) are not enough when the restaurant is half full.

Ruslan did not send us hungry, he offered salads and snacks. We took a salad with nut sauce (I think it was called that), it was very tasty. Thank you for saving the evening! There are no complaints about the staff, the only thing I feel sorry for is the bird in the cage. It was late, and it was clear that the bird already wanted to sleep, but could not because of the light and music. The service is 5+, the location is convenient, the interior is interesting, the dishes are very tasty, minus tomatoes - inside they are green (sliced in a children's dish) and sour, which gave excessive acid in the pasta. We ordered "Golden Chicken" and baby pasta Carbonara for the children - both dishes are very tasty, the children ate everything. Beef tartare, in my opinion, was not enough capers, herring with potatoes and gnocchi with beef - the tongue can be ironed. Class 👍 Staff service deserves commendation. The prices are surprisingly lower than in Minsk - in the capital, I would give half or two times more for the same dinner. In short, I'll be back in Brest - I'll definitely come here.

The ordered dishes did not disappoint. The portions and the quality of the dishes are wonderful (stroganina, seafood soup, wild mushroom soup, meat on the bone, duck legs with pears, dessert). We were passing through the city, went to a restaurant after reading the reviews. The restaurant is not big, all tables are booked. They found us a table, limiting the time of stay. But we fit in quite well. Why I took off the stars:. 1. The menu is very small. I chose cachucco soup. A recipe in a local way). Seafood consists of one shrimp and several mussels. The soup should have been thick, but there was essentially only one broth. Instead of toasted croutons, dried lavash. 2. The service is slow. With a small number of guests and a fairly short menu, the soup was cooked for 15 minutes, and the salad in general for 40 minutes. The staff is smiling, but it's kind of strained.

It's a nice place, the interior is clean, textured, cozy, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, but you can work on the design, I would have given 4 stars, but when ordering a steak of medium-rare marbled beef, they just brought a piece of meat with a piece of inedible fat and veins (what???? Is it marbled beef?????) in short, the steak is full G, and the rest of the dishes are generally at a good level of quality, served with soul and love.

We visited this place with my family. At the entrance, the receptionist asked his sister for a jacket, to which she asked if she would be cool. The administrator gave the answer (quote): "I'll take you to the second floor, you're wearing such unusual shoes." One of us was wearing crocs. But there is not a word on the website about the existence of a dress code in this institution. We were separated from the others like lepers. I didn't like the administrator's attitude at all. The food is of pretty good quality, but due to the service, I do not recommend visiting.
