We booked a table at Jules Verne on our last day in Brest. The cuisine here is European, there is a sufficient selection of dishes. The restaurant is large, and there were many places to sit. We ended up staying on the veranda. We ordered eel, steak mignon, milanese (an analogue of schnitzel) and zucchini fritters. They clarified the roast for the steak and executed it perfectly. The meat was melting in my mouth🤤The rest of the dishes were just as amazing. I recommend cocktails too. The waiter and hostess were very attentive and helpful.🤗 If you are in Brest, be sure to come here)

It's a very stylish , elegant place...It's expensive, but with a collective farm audience, it's like going not to a high-level restaurant, but to a diner (T-shirt shorts), they behave accordingly (they speak at such a volume that the whole restaurant listens). The staff is well-trained . I give them an excellent score. Kitchen - 2 points. It's not delicious. For example, my salad with chicken and avocado, risotto ( liquid rice porridge with shrimp). The ribs were salty .. it is impossible to eat : as compensation, they were given a side dish for free. There are two birds in the room. Toilets (2) are not enough when the restaurant is half full.

I came to Brest for one day, after visiting the fortress, I wanted to have a delicious meal and my choice fell on Jules Verne. It's a very atmospheric and cozy place. Polite staff, and especially the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name). I liked the music that was playing in the hall👍 The food is delicious, I really liked the foie gras, it is very tender and perfectly blends with pears and strawberries. Excellent fish soup, rich broth and fresh seafood. The stewed mutton was falling apart into fibers, and the beans were delicious👍 For dessert, I took chocolate mousse with sugar violets (don't eat it, it's not tasty). I didn't really like the consistency of the mousse, it should be more delicate and airy (my subjective opinion). But in general, if you want to have a delicious meal in an atmospheric establishment, then you are here.
