We stayed at the Malibu Hotel, Gagra, Abkhazia from May 14 to May 22, 2026. One of the disadvantages is that there are no safes in the rooms. Everything else is just +++++!!! The wonderful girl at the reception is Albina. She checked us into the room ahead of time at no extra charge, told us the rules of accommodation. Fruit was brought to our room, for which we are very grateful! At our request, the TV was set up. According to the hotel: large comfortable rooms, bathrobes, slippers, 6 towels, cosmetics, tea, sugar, coffee, electric kettle, cups, glasses. We didn't mess around in the room and didn't require cleaning every day, as well as a change of linen after 3 days. The maids were pleasant, they worked like bees all day, and all the supplies were replenished. The lights were never turned off. Hot and cold water around the clock! The pool is clean and warm. A lobby bar with a very pleasant young man who spent the whole day handing out delicious treats to everyone - ice cream, lemonade, fruit, sponge cake, cookies, yogurt. Local chacha and beer for the men. The restaurant is on the 6th floor, the food is not bad, but there was not much variety. We weren't very lucky with the weather, it was sunny for only 3 days, cloudy the rest of the time, cool for the middle of May. I saved the warm pool, we swam every day. We haven't been on a tour, as we visit Abkhazia every six months and have already seen everything. In general, I can rate my vacation at a solid 4, and the hotel at 5! The hotel is very beautiful, cozy and aesthetic: the rooms are clean, comfortable, bright and relatively new. Each room feels comfortable, and the interior is perfect for beautiful photos. I was particularly impressed by the views: on one side there is a beautiful view of the mountains, and on the other — a magnificent view of the sea. The pool area is very stylish, the sun beds are beautiful and aesthetic — you can take great photos there. I would like to mention the staff separately. The reception staff is incredible: kind, helpful, attentive, competent and always ready to help. Thanks to them, staying at the hotel was even more enjoyable. Many thanks to all the staff for their friendly attitude and high level of service. I really liked the function of the mini-bar: I didn't have to go out at night to buy something to eat. It is also convenient that you can have a snack in the lobby bar between lunch and dinner. The sea is very close, and everything you need — shops, entertainment centers and a market — is located within walking distance. I really liked Gagra itself: it has an incredible atmosphere and, in my opinion, the most beautiful sunsets. The Malibu Hotel left only positive impressions. I definitely want to come back here next year!❤️❤️❤️

We have just returned from an amazing vacation in Abkhazia, where we had a rest with my wife in Gagra, from May 18 to 27 at the Malibu hotel, and I can't help but share my impressions! 😊 , Reception and service From the very moment of arrival, we were greeted very friendly and courteous. The hotel staff was attentive to our every request and always ready to help. 🛌 Room The room was clean and cozy, with a wonderful view of the sea. We appreciated that it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. And even more.😁 🍽️ Food There is not much variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I was pleased! There were delicious dishes on the menu that we were used to. If you don't find fault too much, it's still not a Michelin restaurant. Without restrictions, eat whatever you want and as much as you want. The hotel also has a lobby bar where beer, wine, chacha are poured for free, bottled drinking water is provided, and many other goodies to go with it all, as well as ice cream, cookies, pies, yoghurts and sweet soda for children. 🏊♂️ Pool A clean and heated swimming pool has become a real salvation in the not very good and hot weather in May. We spent a lot of time there, enjoying our vacation. 😊 The staff Special thanks to the wonderful staff — polite and smiling! They created a warm atmosphere and we felt at home. I want to share a review from the hotel Malin.we had a rest from 5.06 to 11.06.The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious, the furniture is new, the bed is gorgeous.Cleaning every day.The pool is heated, the heating was turned off when it got hot.the room has everything.There is a bar in the lobby, open from 10.00 to 22.00.During the day, you can take cold beer for bottling,chacha,wine,water, karkade, cookies, pie and sponge cake.From 15.00 to 18.00 you can take French fries with sauce, ice cream, wings, sandwiches.The food wasn't very varied, but we had enough of everything.Vegetables, meat, soups, porridges, cutlets, etc. You can also take chacha and wine in the restaurant.From what I didn't like:We were with a child of 7 years old, there was not enough animation. And there is no information on the bar that from 15.00 to 18.00 you can take something from the food.They saw what the people had taken and came up and asked.Thank you for a wonderful stay, I definitely recommend it!!!!By the way, we were checked in earlier, our rooms were free.So I definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a rest with my husband and daughter, I really liked the room, it was spacious and newly renovated, usually it was cramped for 3 extra beds, but everything was spacious here. The bathroom is huge, such as we have not seen yet, we have been to quite a few places in Russia. The cuisine is of course very simple, but delicious. We were always well-fed, despite the fact that everyone has very different eating habits. One thing is, I really missed the good coffee from the machine. The lobby bar on the ground floor is very sparse, which was unusual for us. But the alcoholic drinks, though modest, were decent. We plan to return in September, I think we will stay at this hotel again. We are currently checking out of the hotel. We stayed here from 3.08. 26 to 12. 18. 26. This is not my first time in Abkhazia, but it was the first time I visited such a hotel. For 9 days, we have never had a change of bed linen and towels, and there is no water in the rooms. The rooms were not cleaned, you need to take a towel to the beach for money, and water is also for money. The kitchen is generally a separate story, just a horror. The 5.7-year-old children ate almost nothing there. Even she had some discomfort in her stomach. Personally, I don't recommend this hotel. You can find a better one for that kind of money.

Great stay at the Malibu Hotel from May 31st to June 8th! I want to share my impressions of our recent stay at the Malibu Hotel in Gagra. We had a family vacation here from May 31 to June 8 and were absolutely delighted! Two adults and two children. The location of the hotel is simply magnificent — the sea is just around the corner, near all the necessary infrastructure: shops, cafes, entertainment. It is very convenient that everything is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and cozy, especially pleased with the magnificent view of the Ferris wheel from the window. However, we faced a slight inconvenience in organizing the cleaning. The maids came after lunch, when our children usually had a rest. In other hotels, cleaning is usually carried out in the morning while guests are at sea — such a schedule would be much more convenient for families with children. Nevertheless, the cleaning was carried out regularly, the furniture is modern, the plumbing is in excellent condition. The food at the hotel exceeded all expectations. The restaurant offers a varied menu with delicious dishes. The only thing that slightly spoiled the impression was the work of the animator. It seemed that he himself was not very interested in doing his job. Most of the time he was busy shooting stories about his activities, instead of involving the guests in active entertainment. Despite these minor shortcomings, we definitely recommend the Malibu Hotel for a vacation. And, of course, we will definitely come back here again!

We rested for 6 nights from May 26, with a company of 5 people, the room was a two-room suite and standard on the 1st floor with a window (but it opens to the whole and everything turned out fine). The rooms are new and chic, there are all shower facilities and even body lotion! We cleaned daily, we even turned on "do not disturb" because we are not piggies ourselves, we only took away the garbage and replenished the funds. The bathrobes are just super, straight thick terry, at the Amza and Izumrud hotels, and they're just waffle. The food is very good, different side dishes were changed every other day, there is no rotavirus, you just need to wash your hands before eating. And fruits and sweets and cottage cheese, and moreover it's just a 2* hotel! The location is good, the center is close to all the infrastructure, the sea is 1-2 minutes. The pool is warm, the staff is polite and friendly. Only positive emotions from staying at this hotel. Cons can be found in everything and find fault. The main thing is what kind of attitude you're going with. It's a very decent option for Abkhazia. The territory is closed, rose palms have already been planted, it will be beautiful in the future.

We stayed at the Malibu Park Hotel in June 2025. The cuisine here is excellent: at least 5 meat-only dishes for each meal, a variety of side dishes, salads, pastries. The hotel staff is VERY attentive, polite, considerate and helpful. Discos are organized in the evenings. I would especially like to mention the work of animator Pavel. He constantly spends time with children, plays board and outdoor games with them, and organizes their leisure time. It was a pity to leave this place (We hope to visit it again! We arrived at this hotel on 04/28/2025. The room is fresh and stylish, with a large balcony and panoramic windows. Our room had a view of the Ferris wheel and the sea. Beauty! The food in the restaurant was very tasty and varied. The tables were always clean. The reception couldn't immediately give out a bathrobe. They were given out only on the third day of stay. There was no cleaning. They asked me to take out the trash on the third day. They took it out. The pool is warm and clean. In general, the hotel is 5 stars, but the impression was spoiled by the work of the reception staff, who shrugged her shoulders and could not solve the problem. A photo of how they brought us a bathrobe and put it on a chair. It felt like it had been taken from another room and not washed. I'm taking the star off because of this.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Malibu Park Hotel. Three meals a day = buffet! The variety of dishes is excellent: everyone will find something to their liking, for every taste! The view from the window was of the mountains! The beauty is indescribable! The rooms are clean, the cleaning is done, shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner and body lotion are put on every day, there is also a hairdryer (no need to take) . There is a swimming pool on site. Water aerobics, fitness in the water, and exercise are held there every morning! Animator Victoria is very cool and sincere, she finds an approach to everyone: both children and adults! It's a 2-minute walk to the sea, just a fairy tale! The water in August is +29 degrees. There is a Ferris wheel nearby, it's especially beautiful to ride it at night, we were there around 21:30. The view is amazing! There is also a cafe "Adjika" nearby, every evening there is a free disco (next to the embankment), tables in the open air, you don't have to take something, you can just come and dance. There is just music, and there is live performance + local flavor - Lezginka! We recommend it! 💥💥💥

I am a creative, positive and energetic person, I have never been bored with you. All the events were uplifting. I didn't even want to leave. The hotel itself is located near the sea. There is a swimming pool next to the hotel, often with warm water. I'd like it to be cool in the heat. There is also an amusement park in front of the hotel. Overall, the hotel is excellent.

We had a family vacation at the Malibu hotel from 01.07 to 09.07.2026. A very wonderful hotel, with friendly staff. Clean, small, and cozy. Good repair, high-quality furniture and plumbing. Sea view from the balcony. Everything was replenished and cleaned daily. Bed linen and towels were changed. Either on demand, or by yourself once every 3 days. Of the cons: 1. Cuisine without variety. It's boring. If the meatballs are boiled for breakfast, then for lunch they are already with vegetables and in gravy. There wasn't much choice. It's almost always the same. 2. Lobby bar. The bartender was almost never there. Either you wait for him for a long time, or you just leave. Well, or self-service where you can reach yourself. There's not much choice. We only got to the ice cream once. Fries, wings, etc. are rare. There were cookies from the canteen regularly, but no one really needed them. 3. Swimming pool. Yes, clean, warm, equipped with sun beds, umbrellas. But! It's from 9.00 to 19.00. It's a strange time! In the evening, when you don't want to go to the beach, the pool is already closed. And in the morning, before breakfast, you could swim, but it's still closed. 4. The hotel is on the first line. There is an exit to the beach. BUT it's closed! Walk around. It's an incomprehensible situation at all. Rave! 5. Well, the little things. On the balcony, the lamp lights up by itself at 9.30 pm. It shines directly into the room. It is impossible to disable it. That's why they always have their windows and doors closed. And the split system (general air conditioning) does not work quite correctly. It seems to work, but it doesn't cool down. In general, the rest is on a solid 4. I would like to fix the shortcomings!

The hotel is nice, we live on the second floor, we have a view of the mountains, everything is cool, the food is good, but the presence of cilantro in almost all dishes is frustrating, BUT! The constant shutdown of lights and water is not encouraging, as well as upon check-in, the girl at the reception did not say a word about free sun beds and umbrellas, and about free access to the Ferris wheel, which is located opposite the hotel. We found out about this the day before departure from the hotel guests, it was very frustrating. There are two bottles of water in the room when you check in, if you drink them, they won't give them to you anymore, even if you get poisoned - go to the store for water :) You probably won't get a clothes dryer either, of course, they will tell you that the issue will be resolved, but no one will solve anything) Thank God, there were no problems with the air conditioner, but we also heard that the air conditioner was not working on the 4th and 5th floors.

He wished us a pleasant appetite every time, our table was always in a good mood for us (because we were the only ones who were a big company) The food is varied, we did not find any rotovirus. The only wish is, please install the coffee machine and it will be a DELIGHT. Cons: there are no beach towels and it is forbidden to use hotel towels on the beach (they said they ordered, they should bring them soon). It's not critical, but it wouldn't be bad. Separately for tourists: IT IS BETTER TO BUY WINE AND CHACHA ON LAKE RITSA, there is no taste of moonshine, as in other places.😂 Also outside the hotel, behind the fence, there is a girl who offers guided tours, it is better to take them from her, she makes discounts, helps to see everything in a short time and for little money. The room is great, the nature is beautiful. Now I will describe all the nuances of the hotel itself, it may be useful. There is no territory, the hotel itself has a swimming pool with sun beds and three benches. There is no playground declared on the website, the lobby bar is just sadness, karkade, water, cookies and sponge cake, no fruits, pizza, lemonades and ice cream, what children usually drag to the pool. Beach towels 350 RUB 1 piece for the entire stay. No one puts drinking water in the room, there are no coolers on the floor either. But there is at the reception for 50 rubles. A restaurant is a big word, a dining room, there are almost no fruits, only apples and oranges for lunch, everything is cut into slices, they are not always replenished, there are no fruits for dinner and breakfast, coffee is instant. Side dishes include potatoes, pasta, stew, cabbage, goulash meat, chicken pieces, fish every other day. 2 types of soup and broth. Vegetables cucumbers tomatoes and peppers, one pickle and one mayonnaise salad. Kampot, chacha, red semi-sweet wine. You take everything on trays, clean up after yourself, the wine is in glasses, there are no glasses (well, it's strange since the restaurant is declared). The website lists a cafe, but there is no sign of it. The beach- there is not a single sign that this is the beach of the Malibu hotel, however, as well as on the hotel itself by the way. You will find out when you take a sunbed, and it will turn out to be paid, and then you will be told where the hotel's beach is. There is no animation at all. As a conclusion, the hotel is absolutely not worth its price during the season. I am attaching a photo of the so-called lobby bar and restaurant.

There was no animation at all. We had two rooms, one with a sea view (3rd floor), the other with a mountain view (6th floor). The rooms are spacious, new and very nice. However, it was very cold inside. There was a heater and that was it. The air conditioner was not working in the room on the 3rd floor (we asked the reception, the problem was not solved), it was working on the 6th floor (apparently due to the fact that there is a dining room on this floor), we immediately set 30 ° to somehow warm up. There is no heating in the bathroom at all, cold floors, in general, are not very pleasant. When it started to get warmer outside, the room got better. I also want to pay special attention to the lack of water. When we arrived, she wasn't there at all. We couldn't even wash our hands. They asked at the reception, they say there will be water in 30 minutes, but they did not give it. A couple of days later, we realized that there was water after 9, it was given for several hours. She appeared and did not appear during the day. She didn't show up at all in the evening, only after 22:30. Initially, it was rusty and icy, then the situation improved a little (instead of red, slightly yellow water flowed). The situation improved closer to January 6 (apparently, people started working). The room has a mini-bar (paid, of course). I can praise the cleaners. The rooms were clean, bed linen and towels were changed, new jars of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were put in every day, dirty cups and plates were washed, tea bags, coffee and sugar were always replenished. The dining room is on the 6th floor. We only had breakfast. The food selection is sparse. There was always over-salted buckwheat or rice, unleavened pasta in butter, dumplings with potatoes and fried onions, sausages (boiled or fried), oatmeal in water, pancakes with cottage cheese (by the end they were already without cottage cheese), cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, tangerines, lettuce (olivier or vinaigrette), and butter, ketchup, mayonnaise, condensed milk. There was also milk and compote. The boiling water was red, because the water was rusty from the tap, and I didn't want to drink tea (packaged) and coffee (instant powder) at all. There was also black and white bread, which were always hard and savory. In general, I only liked the sausages. There is parking on site, but if you want to go somewhere, you need to open and lock the gate yourself. There is also a "heated" swimming pool. Upon arrival, he was dirty and cold. We approached the reception, asked if it was possible to swim at all and when, to which they replied: "in two hours they will wash it, warm it up and you can." Naturally, the pool became clean only after three days. We only went swimming 2 times when it was warm outside. The water is not icy, but it is not hot either. In general, I give two stars only for the modern and beautiful view of the hotel, and for cleaning the room. I don't recommend a hotel.
