The museum is quite expensive, and what's inside it doesn't justify the price. Most pictures are of minor artists that followed some European artistic currents without being noticed. There are very few painting masterpieces, some of the sculptures are somewhat more noteworthy. Probably most of the money are for the building that looks recently renovated. Though I didn't appreciate the entrance to the galleries which resembles going into a cage. Not a great experience.

The museum makes an incredible impression! Aesthetics and color of different genres and styles are literally saturated with emotions💔 It's quite difficult to walk, there are a lot of authors and halls, but in 3 hours you can walk around the entire museum. I started as I like, in detail, stopping at each painting. I was already finishing with acceleration Of course, you get very tired of so many impressions, but you still come out happy! I didn't have time to go to the cafeteria and souvenir shop, but I looked in — it looks very interesting! The museum itself is modern, beautiful, and spacious! All the caretakers are very sweet and romantic young Georgians)) Sometimes they walk with you, sometimes they read books. It's great that there are very different artists in different halls, a whole gallery (in every sense) of Georgian art opens, trends and traditions immediately become clear. I recommend reading the plaques about the authors, because you can learn a lot about their relationship with each other and with famous Russian creators.🖌️

The museum is very large and tedious. I believe that one ticket should be valid for at least two days (two visits). By the end of the second hour, I was already dizzy from the glut of paintings. Some of the halls (paintings by artists) were very heavy, overloaded with colors and details, and were difficult to perceive, even to the point of feeling unwell. Some of the halls were like a breath of fresh air - they caused a feeling of relief. The leitmotif of so many artists is women. But it is extremely rare that this interest is reflected in the lightness and sophistication of a woman. Most of the time, there is something heavy about the paintings. Definitely worth a visit to this place. This is an opportunity to get to know Georgia through creativity. The museum itself is gorgeous. It's covered in glass, which makes it even more grandiose.
