One of my favorite places in Venice. A historical cafe that is more than 300 years old. It is well written about him in the book "Bella Venezia". Incredibly beautiful, rich interiors (the cost of creating them cost the same amount as building a palace on the prestigious Grand Canal), a large selection of coffee (he first came here from the East), good desserts, excellent service. Interesting seasonal cocktails and their own, called "Florian".

It's a great place, beautiful, and I lowered my rating only because of the prices and the constant crowds. And for the sophistication, the surroundings, the view, the decor, the non-trivial coffee and cocktails - of course, there would be 5. This is not a place to stop by for a cup of coffee. And in order to sit in good company, sipping a drink. By the way, the cappuccino here is one foam and five drops of coffee dangling somewhere at the bottom. Like that.

To be honest, I really wanted to visit this place, as the cafe has a very beautiful style, and it has a very long history, but !!! We ordered 3 different drinks, and not one of them was simply impossible to drink ! It 's not tasty , it 's expensive , it 's not worth your money at all !!!!

Venice. Cafe Florian in PIAZZA SAN MARCO, VENICE, ITALY. You come out of the alley, and the square opens up like a theater curtain. "The most beautiful living room in Europe," he said (according to legend) Napoleon. San Marco Cathedral shines with Byzantine gold mosaics and marble. Above the portal are bronze horses that traveled from Constantinople through Paris back. Today there are copies; the originals are in the cathedral museum. To the left stretches a rectangular brick-red Campanile with a golden angel on the spire. On the right is the Doge's Palace, delicate and airy, as if carved out of light. Pigeons are walking around the square. The seagull deftly takes the croissant off the table, and the waiter of Cafe Florian (1st floor of the New Prosecutor's Office building) barely manages to cover the dish. Cafe Florian has a musical orchestra: waltzes, tangos, Neapolitan tunes, and suddenly the melody of "Winged Swing" sounds. Many celebrities have been here. Florian, by the way, came up with a recipe for Venetian coffee. You drink to the violin, sitting in a wicker chair, and experience a wonderful moment. Beauty seems tangible, as if you breathe it. Venice loves white. Many people tend to dress in light colors for celebrations. Last summer, we discussed the high-profile wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, where guests sailed through the canals in snow-white outfits. Sometimes there is an acqua alta - the play of the moon, tides and wind. The square is under water, tourists in rubber boots, the Venetians are calm. An ordinary day in an unusual city. The lagoon is slowly sinking under the water, and the question of how to save it remains open. We need a combination of engineering solutions, careful restoration and global climate measures. Only a comprehensive strategy provides a chance to preserve the city for future generations. If you have responded, please mark it with a like - it motivates

An old cafe inspired poetry)🌹 Florian The orchestra is playing in St. Mark's Square, My Casanova is waiting for me at the cafe. The whole Russian is a Venetian., Powdered, a little tipsy. The waiters in white tailcoats are imposing, Butterflies decorate their necks. How much charisma and talent they have, They play an incredible role in the theater. Caffè alla Venexiana on a silver tray, The table is decorated with coffee liqueur. In Gazzetta Veneta, Fleur Intrigues takes away, Covered in coffee, Baby Doll whipped cream. Golden mirrors, vintage and murals, Shabby antique exterior. Perfume from Florian "Aqua Moresca" The atmospheric interior is saturated. Radiance of chocolate, grains, orange, Dream Blue and Tropical cocktails. The Aliens Biennale will be discussed And the ladies' man was purring. He pretended to order music., The secret was that he knew the repertoire. He smeared her lipstick with kisses, I couldn't resist the philanderer's charms. My poetry)🌹 Mademoiselle Fife

After a long visit to the Doge's Palace, I decided to come here for a snack and relax. Since it was quite cool in early April, we went inside through several halls. The tables were mostly occupied, and only the mirrored room had seats. The interior of this cafe is able to impress only those who are extremely enthusiastic about the History of personalities, although it is clear that the owners are trying to preserve the spirit of the times - tarnished mirrors on the walls and marble tables with silver trays are not updated on purpose. People come here as if on an excursion and don't stay, perhaps they are doing the right thing. Although the coffee here is good, it does not cause delight - even the branded coffee dedicated to the 290th anniversary of the cafe. I also didn't like the salmon quiche, as well as the potato quiche with rosemary. In general, a walk-through place is popular with tourists only because of the brand with a history. Here you can relax, have a light snack for 60 euros and move on. Perhaps, in good weather on the square, of course, there may be completely different feelings. By the way, the receipt does not include a kopeck for music if you are sitting inside the cafe and not outside.

The oldest cafe in Italy. It is located in the gallery on St. Mark's Square. Since its foundation in 1720, it has been called "Alla Venezia Trionfante", but visitors called the cafe by the name of the owner. They come here for the atmosphere. There were Byron and Goethe, Hemingway and Brodsky. They say that Casanova drank coffee here. Waiters with exaggerated dignity bring coffee and desserts on silver trays. Live music performed by a small orchestra adds 6 euros to the cost of your lunch, but it's not every day that you relax in a cafe where it's up to you (perhaps it was at your table) that Dickens was sitting.

The atmosphere and service were beyond praise, and more was expected from the taste of the dishes, especially desserts. And one more thing, during the day only 2-3 tables were occupied inside, you sit, eat, and every minute crowds of tourists take pictures of you

Florian, like Venice in general, is conducive to hedonism. Yes, it's expensive, but you're on San Marco. Order, for example, a Florian cocktail (it will be prepared in front of you), or any other aperitif, and enjoy the view that opens up to your eyes, the well-known melodies, the evening sun, and just life, finally.

The coffee is getting cold. The lagoon is lapping , and my dim pupil is being executed with a hundred small reflections for trying to memorize a landscape that can do without me. This is how Joseph Brodsky wrote about Venice, whose ashes are buried here. They say that Brodsky is a "genius of the place" in relation to Venice. No one can write about Venice better than Brodsky wrote about it. By the time of writing these lines in 1982, Brodsky had visited Venice 17 times and always came there in winter. The oldest cafe "Florian" is located on St. Mark's Square, where the poet liked to drink coffee with friends who came to visit him.
