It would be great if it wasn't so sad! We chose the Greenwood Chalet as a place to celebrate a birthday in a modest company, and, as a result, we were left with not the most pleasant impressions. Admittedly, the concept of the place is not bad enough, but its implementation leaves much to be desired, starting with life-worn, creaky furniture, a stained mirror in the hallway, a clogged watering can of the upper shower, dubiously cleaned plumbing, a hole in a body towel and a smell in the bathroom, which by morning turned into the smell of a public toilet at the station and ending with the correspondence of special offers to reality and the positions held by the staff. I would like to mention the latter in more detail: upon check-in, the administrator was pleased with a discount for dinner at the restaurant in honor of the birthday (as confirmation, a copy of the passport was made for further transfer to the restaurant staff) and advised to book a table in advance with an additional warning from the restaurant administrator about the birthday, which we actually did literally within half an hour after checking in, hoping that this would be more than enough for a great evening. The evening really could have been great, because the food and service were amazing, for which special thanks to the chefs and the waitress, but after the meal everything did not go according to plan: after payment, we noticed that the promised discount was not applied and the waitresses clarified why. It was immediately clear from her appearance that she did not understand what was going on at all, so we decided to resolve this issue with the administrator, who waved off the logical question about the discount in the receipt with the phrase "you should have warned the waiter, there is nothing we can do now." No other answer was received to the logical question "how can this be?" (and for a second it was the same administrator with whom we had booked the table in advance), despite the fact that she confirmed the fact that she remembers that there should be a discount in honor of the Birthday. The last straw was that, in the end, the receptionist just left us to meet other guests. It was decided to contact the reception for further resolution of the situation, because in fact, the question was not at all about the monetary difference of the check (we went to Greenwood not knowing about the discount for the holiday), but that the staff dumped all responsibility for fulfilling their promises on the client and in no way even tried that- then take action. Fortunately, the receptionist at the reception did not try to shift responsibility for the current situation to us and did everything to smooth out the not very pleasant impressions of visiting the restaurant, especially on her birthday, for which special thanks to her. But that's not all: by the morning it became very chilly in the room, the floor near the exit to the terrace was just icy and the impossibility of separate temperature control in the room only finished off the whole picture...

We have been to this place several times . We arrived on February 14th, Valentine's Day. It's all good......rooms, food, nature. I would like to especially mention the sauna complex. Everything is at a good level, I especially liked the professional approach to background music. Respect! But there is one "BUT". When ordering a full range of services....you also need to pay for the entrance ticket to the restaurant. Since there was a cover band performance. I understand everything.......but 40 rubles per person. We think maybe Solodukha will perform. Aah, no. Amateur musicians . Of course we paid and went. But to put it mildly......the sediment remained. Dear owners.....look at this moment from the side of the guests (guests). With respect.

In December, it was decided to visit this place with a friend. I would like to note that I was here earlier, everything was fine, but this time something did not come together. It all started when the receptionist called me at the very entrance to the chalet and informed me that it would be nice for us to stay in Brest because they do not have electricity due to an accident and it is not very convenient for them to receive us. At the same time, they decided to warn half an hour before the check-in time. But because we are not from Brest and there were no plans to visit it, especially to spend the night, we reported that we had no options other than settling in. Upon arrival, we were once again notified of all the nuances and, as a pleasant bonus, it was agreed that they would agree on a discount for visiting the bathhouse. The rooms at the height of the views are amazing. In the late afternoon, we realized that we were settled between 2 families with young children and it is not entirely clear why we should settle so tightly to each other when the number of empty rooms at that time exceeded the occupied ones. Well, okay, we thought, because none of us went to bed early. Waiters in the restaurant often had to be expected, although again there were few guests and there were always 2-3 tables occupied. The bath disappointed me completely (the first thing that caught my eye was the dirty water in the pool, which was terribly muddy and with some kind of garbage. There is a fungus everywhere on the walls that adds drama to the picture and the final one is a full ashtray on the terrace of the bathhouse (We thought unpleasantly and went to smooth it all out in a restaurant with the hope of a pleasant dinner. But it didn't happen here either. In the dessert that the waiter was so actively offering, and it was a strudel with ice cream in a waffle that is served with dessert, a long dark hair was baked))))) at the end of the rest, upon departure, it turned out that, alas, the promised discounts were not provided for the bathhouse. In general, the place is beautiful, the location is great, but there is definitely not enough inspection and grooming in seemingly small things, and well, attentiveness 🙃

A wonderful place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Delicious cuisine, good breakfasts are dense and with an extensive buffet, polite staff, very responsive receptionists at the reception. We visited this wonderful place, the whole family liked it! The room is large and comfortable , the restaurant is super, there would be more country complexes of this level in our country! This is not the first time we have stayed in this place when we arrive in Brest, in general we like everything, especially the place and the terrace in the room. From the nuances: - you're sitting in your room in your pajamas, ordering room service.; - after you think about it, no one explained where to put the dishes.; - after calling the restaurant, it turns out that you need to get dressed out of your pajamas in the winter cold and go out with dishes to look for a cart on the street, which is not at the room where the order was made, but somewhere 10-15 rooms away from you; - my impressions are mixed, to put it mildly. Compared to the street, the room is certainly warm. In principle, the temperature set in the room (which cannot be changed) +22.8 is suitable for sleep time. The rest of the time, undressing or changing into pajamas is immediately painful. I had to sit under the covers all evening, and in the morning we were also very cold and warmed up in the shower. The furniture and furnishings in some places no longer exactly correspond to either the time or the prices for accommodation, which are only growing — somewhere it is worn, there is only one chair (you can't have breakfast at the table together), an incomprehensible sofa, there is no table. The bathroom is dark with basement lighting, there is a plaque on the glass elements (which cleaning chemicals could easily handle), a mirror for very tall people who never need makeup — made high and far away. When we were evicted, they didn't even ask us how our vacation went or if we liked everything, although we have impressions. Summing up: such trifles are not something serious and scary, it is clear that the hotel has its own rules and established practices. But still, for good money, I would like the interior, furnishings and service to be updated and developed. Otherwise, it turns into an overseas motel, where you're on your own, and the environment around you is like 15 years ago.

As a result, the hands get tired noticeably quickly and the palms get chafed. p.s. I was born and grew up on the Volga, practically with oars in my hands, so I know what I'm talking about. On a day off, there was just a "Soviet" queue at the bar. Not the most pleasant picture, not to mention that I wanted to drink something, but without long downtime in the queue! I would also like a more prompt cleaning of the beach area. Empty coke cans were lying around us for half a day, left by someone like a pig. So there is something for the administration to work on. Therefore, I sincerely wish not to ruin an initially good project!
