A great hotel for exploring Istanbul! We stayed at the hotel from May 5 to May 9, and it was the perfect choice for our first time in Istanbul. The hotel is located in a stunning location: within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park. The metro station is two minutes away, there is a tram stop, supermarket and pharmacies nearby. Special thanks to the staff — they are incredibly responsive and friendly, always help, prompt, create a sense of comfort and coziness. Special thanks to Dmitry — he will always tell you in detail, show you, tell you how to get there or what to see. The breakfasts are good, the variety is sufficient. The rooms are clean and cozy: the bed linen is fresh, cleaning is daily if necessary. Everything is thought out for a comfortable stay. In general, the hotel is ideal for tourism in Istanbul — we will definitely return!

We just got back from this hotel. The impression is very good.A small hotel, but in the best location! All the sights are in five minutes. The street is central and modern. There are no descents and ascents. There is a convenience store next to the hotel. There's an inexpensive cafe around the corner. The numbers are also normal. You can get to the bottom of anything. The linen is clean, the bed is comfortable and there is an elevator.Breakfasts are quite normal.Salads, coffee, pastries, omelets .Everything you need and in large quantity. In general, after looking at other hotels while walking around the city, we concluded that we were very lucky. Well, those who are used to the suite are not here .We were satisfied with the cleanliness and order. We have a window facing the courtyard. At exactly 5/30 they start singing in the mosque. But it didn't bother us.There is noise from splits, but most importantly there is no music. Yes, Russian channels are working on TV.In general, the hotel is decent in flight.

Good day! We had a vacation with friends in June, celebrating my 50th birthday! I highly recommend the hotel! Excellent location-all the sights are within walking distance, the transport interchange is wonderful. The hotel is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts are just great! For every taste! The staff is friendly in the kitchen and the guys at the reception. And, the most important thing in the hotel is, of course, Dmitry and Margarita! Very, very well done guys, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your responsiveness, help in all matters and excellent organization of excursions and my birthday! I have been in love with Istanbul for a long time, we have mastered the road, now we will come and only to this hotel!!!

The best hotel! I RECOMMEND IT!!!! Firstly, the hotel is located right in the historical center, a 3-minute walk from a huge number of major attractions, near the tram stop, from which you can get anywhere. Secondly, the biggest plus is that the managers and the hotel administrator are Russian! Huge respect to Margarita and Dmitry for orienting them in 15 minutes and telling them literally everything. Where is it profitable to change money, where is it delicious to eat without a service fee, how and where to get on public transport, call a taxi and where are the coolest clothes! I just bow low to you for being there for all 5 days of our vacation and always coming to the rescue! Thirdly, excellent breakfasts and a buffet, delicious, a large selection, good coffee and LARGE MUGS for Russians not to go 4 times. Conclusion: we highly recommend this hotel. If possible, we will be happy to come back again.

Great hotel. Room cleaning is daily, if desired. They respond instantly to minor malfunctions in the room (during the day, of course). The noise from the street is constant, but this is the heart of Istanbul's tourist district, while the sound insulation is high, you close the window, and silence. Breakfast is a buffet. There is not enough meat, but you will not stay hungry, the dishes are unusual, they change from day to day. You have to try everything, sometimes you'll take something unusual, delicious. In general, the cook has a big plus. And the coffee is delicious, you can have breakfast drinking coffee from 8 to 11🤗. Russian guides Dmitry and Margarita will always help and give good advice. When leaving the hotel, they will always ask you what you decided to visit today and will take measures to ensure that you do not forget anything or do not take anything into account.

Celebrating my birthday at this hotel, right now. It is located three minutes from the Blue Mosque, and everything is within walking distance! It feels much closer than on the map. The staff are lovely, the breakfasts are good, as in all 4-5 stars, where there are no lobsters)) Everything is clean, for me the main thing is that I should not be squeamish and without adventures like checking into a fast-paced room to make money. The neighbors have never been heard of. It's noisy outside. Everything is heard and seen on the video. The conday works perfectly. There was soap and shampoo, no brushes or toothbrush. There are no spots anywhere. The best vacation for me is in Turkey (hotel), and I've been everywhere here. If you are stuffy and you need seafood and repairs that are not dried from freshness, then look further) We only sleep and have breakfast at the hotel. Pysy:) Thanks to the hotel, all the staff, you are the best! 11 out of 10 !!!

We stayed at the hotel in June 2026. The hotel is located in the center of historic Istanbul, with all attractions within walking distance. My daughter and I went around them ourselves and more than once. We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. The room on the third floor was small, but clean and bright. It had everything you needed. We cleaned and changed towels every day. The breakfasts are not bad. They didn't stay hungry. The administrator Dmitry is a really nice person. It'll tell you everything. And all the staff is very friendly. The hotel is not big, but it is quite cozy. You feel at home in it. We liked everything about him. I definitely recommend it.

Good day! I was at the Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel, from 06/15/22/2026 for the second time (the first time last year). I would like to thank the administrator Dmitry for participating in the partial organization of my trip, and I am always ready to help, prompt, and give good advice. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The 3-bed room is small, clean, daily cleaning. The breakfast is generally good, you can choose according to your taste, you definitely won't stay hungry, but I would like more variety. I like the fact that the hotel is located within walking distance of many attractions. There are tram and metro stops nearby.

The hotel's location is within walking distance of St. Sophia Cathedral, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the green line metro stop, about the same distance to the Marmaray stop and the marina, and a little closer to the tram stops. We like to walk, so it didn't bother us, you can get to any part of the city by public transport. We lived on the second floor, room 211, the windows looked out onto the alley, and at night and in the morning it was quite noisy - some engines were running and carts with vegetables and corn were being washed and loaded. The room is generally small, but we only came to sleep, so it was unprincipled. The rooms were tired, of course, and the shower couldn't hold (I had to be smart and tie it with a string). Breakfasts from the "you won't stay hungry" series. There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception during the day, and if desired, they organize excursions, but we didn't need to, so we didn't apply.

The hotel is in the best location, all the attractions are within walking distance. There is everything you need nearby: cafes, shops and convenient transportation. I would also like to thank the administrator Dmitry and the accompanying Margarita. They are very responsive and pleasant people, they will tell you everything, explain, advise you where it is better to go and what to see first. Thanks to their attentive attitude, the rest has become even more comfortable. There were only positive impressions from the stay. We will definitely come back again!

We stayed at the Albatros Hagia Sophia 4* hotel and enjoyed everything very much! The rooms are clean, tidy and really cozy — you immediately feel at home. The breakfasts are good: there is plenty to choose from, everything is fresh and delicious. I would like to mention the staff separately: they are very friendly staff, and it is especially pleasant that many people speak Russian — this greatly simplifies communication and makes your stay more comfortable. I definitely recommend it

I recommend the hotel. Excellent location! Nice beds, but not two, all family beds. You won't be able to split it. The breakfasts are just good. Not great. And now about Dmitry and Margarita . These are wonderful people!!! Every tourist was given time to explain everything, to tell everything- where, what, how.. to get there, to walk. I sometimes wondered how they had so much patience. , Thank you again! We lived in room 308. Everything is great. By the way, this cafe has amazing fish in lavash. This is the street where the tram runs.

We were in Istanbul at this hotel. They were chosen based on the location and pricing policy. The hotel is located within walking distance of the main attractions. The street is very busy, but our windows overlooked the courtyard, which is good. The biggest advantage of the hotel is the Russian-speaking staff. All information can be found out. Thanks a lot to Margarita and Dmitry! Excursions can be booked at their hotel, no problem, in any currency and at a good price. A bus picks up from the hotel and takes you to your destination. We took a full-day tour. By ship and by bus. We are thrilled! Thanks to all the staff of Albatros Hagia Sophia!

We stayed at this hotel in July. The location of the hotel is just a topchik, the main sights of Istanbul are within walking distance. You can also walk calmly and slowly to the Galaport. The breakfasts at the guest house are quite decent, we were not hungry. The rooms are not large, but everything is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really liked it. We will definitely come back 😉

I really liked everything! The hotel is located in the center of Istanbul, everything is within walking distance. We stayed for 4 days, a family room for 5 people (two different rooms, one double, the other three, the doors can be opened, connected by a screen) Dmitry met us, (Russian free) told us everything, explained in detail where it is profitable to change money, where to eat and what to watch. The guy is an administrator, he doesn't understand Russian well, but he tries to help, and thank him very much too! Special thanks to the maids, the girls are smart, they clean every day, make the bed, change the linen, bring coffee water every day. Thanks a lot to the canteen staff too, the girls are attentive, I just took the plate to put it away, the girls take it from my hands) everything is very tasty and varied. If we ever come to Turkey, then only to albatross, thank you all very much again, you are in our hearts.

The location is convenient, Aya Sofia, Topkapi nearby. The rooms are tired, and there are bedspreads instead of blankets (yes, it's summer, but with the air conditioner on, it's necessary). Personally, we didn't really like the staff, in particular the woman at the reception, there was arrogance in the intonation and eye-rolling, so we didn't want to ask questions at all. Breakfasts are a separate topic: The food seems to be there, but there doesn't seem to be anything to eat. Every day there are boiled eggs and some kind of incomprehensible omelet, for dessert there are usually tasteless cookies and purchased cupcakes, over-salted salads. There was a delicious watermelon, and I lived on it. We definitely won't choose this hotel anymore.

Everything you may need is within walking distance. Pleasant breakfasts. The rooms are relatively spacious, and everything is quite clean. In general, all this is not very important, the most important thing is the personalities behind the help and assistance to the guests. Thank you very much, Dmitry, for covering the operational situation and consulting on building routes, etc. Without your recommendations, everything would have been terrible.

We lived with a group of 18 people in February 2026, excellent location in the center of the old town, walking distance to most of the attractions, close to many cafes, including observation decks, public transport stops and shops with everything you need. It was warm in the hotel, but whoever wanted to increase the temperature with air conditioners. Personally, I didn't need to, I even opened the window, because I was lucky with the weather, it was up to +18. Breakfast was a buffet, there was a choice, I left well-fed, decent coffee, good treats for it, too, six kinds. The administrator Dmitry is Russian-speaking, friendly and ready to help, many thanks to him for understanding. The hotel is attentive to the residents, it was my birthday and they organized a surprise in the form of decorating the room with balloons and festive stretching, it was nice. There is a tea set in the room, but water was provided only on the day of arrival, perhaps it was necessary to ask how it turned out with a dental cleaning kit, it was not in the room, but when contacting the reception, it was provided. The bed linen is decent, there are enough towels: bath towels, for hands, for feet. Shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper are available in large quantities. The TV is big, the refrigerator is not very big, but it saves. The rooms are small.

This hotel has two huge advantages that outweigh the minor disadvantages. This is its location and staff. The most convenient place. Everything is within a five-minute walk, a grocery store is 30 meters away, a little further is Migros, a tram stop, all the sights. The place is unique. And there's no alley in the center, it's not scary to come back late at night if you're traveling with friends, and there's no busy street with active traffic. The hotel has justified every ruble we paid. The breakfasts are simple, but everything you need is there. In the evening, you will be treated to fragrant Turkish tea. The rooms are clean, everything you need is there, we lived in a room with a balcony. Wonderful view of Hagia Sophia. I want to tell you about the hotel staff separately. Irina will meet you at breakfast, an extremely friendly girl, we arrived quite late, immediately offered tea. The feeling that you have arrived to visit your relatives) We met Dmitry this morning, he's the manager. He was the one who helped us plan excursions, gave us very useful tips, and suggested where it would be best to change dollars, as it turned out, this was indeed the most profitable course. The excursions that were bought from him are the highest score. Ask on the days when Nailya works, this is a rare professional, we have a lot of experience and there is something to compare it with. It is profitable in terms of cost, not more expensive than in other places, and something is cheaper. The transfer to the airport was also ordered from Dmitry, the price is excellent and the car is large. When you get tired of the crowds and sights, Dmitry will tell you where and how to go to take a break from your impressions and recharge. Thanks to everyone who wrote earlier about the hotel staff, this is our first time in Istanbul, and I would like to have someone to ask once again and get advice. It's much calmer this way. I definitely recommend the hotel. If you choose it for your trip, bring along some Borodinsky bread for Dmitry and Irina. In conversation with them, they realized how much they miss their usual food. Irina, as a real woman, can also have Russian chocolates. It costs you almost nothing, but it will make people very happy. Happy holidays to all!

Nice little hotel. The location is very convenient. All the sights are nearby, a 5-minute walk. Galata Tower is about 30 minutes away, we walked. I also liked the service. Some staff speak Russian, but those who don't can easily translate everything using their phone. Everyone is nice and polite. I liked the breakfasts, they were delicious, not big, brewed coffee, a couple of desserts. The rooms are basically normal. Spend the night, take a shower more than enough. The bed is comfortable, the linen and towels are clean and white, there are many outlets near the bed, a refrigerator, a kettle, a set for tea and coffee. The furniture was a little shabby, but it didn't bother me.

The four of us stayed at this hotel in Istanbul at the end of May. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. This is the case when the atmosphere, the service and the energy itself add up to an ideal vacation. The first thing I would like to note is the incredible sincerity of the staff. Dmitry is wonderful, he always suggested good places to us and helped us with by transfer. I also want to mention Irina, a very kind and helpful girl. Thank you very much! It feels like people care, and that's rare. The hotel itself is very atmospheric: cleanliness, cozy rooms, although the old renovation, but it does not spoil the hotel in any way. A quiet, beautiful and peaceful street, but at the same time everything is nearby: cafes, shops, attractions. It was convenient for us to walk and get anywhere. The breakfasts are delicious and satisfying. Istanbul is a wonderful city in itself, but it was this hotel that made our stay easy and comfortable. We'll definitely come again - it's not even up for discussion. It's a place you want to come back to. I miss

The hotel left the most pleasant impression, despite the tired room. The location is ideal, it is actually a 5-minute walk from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Gulhane Park, near hamams, supermarket, cafes, currency exchanges and souvenir shops. Tram stops are also about 5 minutes from the hotel, two are Gulhane and Sultanahmet. The windows overlooked a quiet street on the other side of the hotel. The breakfasts are hearty, delicious, a good choice and a convenient time from 7 to 11. Hot water is available around the clock, cleaning is daily, the beds are comfortable, you can turn on the air conditioner for warmth, it was useful to us, the weather in early May was very cool. On the first day, the hotel compliments you with bags of coffee, tea, sugar and three glasses of water. And the most beautiful thing is that the Russian-speaking administrators Dmitry and Margarita answered any question - where to change money, where to take excursions, how to get there, in detail and in detail, in general, made our stay as comfortable as possible. I really want to come back!

He told me where to go to eat, he was a very friendly and good person, and later he also helped with advice. The hotel is located close to Sultanahmet Square, where the main attractions are located. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, the mattresses and pillows are good, and it's comfortable to sleep. The breakfasts were hearty, and every day something changed in the dishes. We stayed at this hotel at the end of October. The hotel has an excellent location, everything is within walking distance. Mosques, markets, cafes, restaurants, resorts, hammams, etc.attractions. The hotel staff is Russian-speaking, they will always prompt and help. I would like to say a special thanks now. She is a very beautiful, friendly and pleasant girl. The breakfasts at the hotel are also good, all days there is a variety of food, delicious, satisfying. You eat your fill. The towels were cleaned, but the room hadn't been cleaned in 5 days. The rooms are clean, small, but comfortable. The bathroom needs a little repair, but not critical. The TV was showing 5 channels, but there were no Russian channels. The windows faced the street, I won't say that it was very noisy, but in the early morning you can hear the azan well. The departure time was additionally announced. There was a guide at the hotel, Ibrahim, who offered guided tours. He also exchanged a small part of the dollars for lira upon arrival. The hotel staff is friendly, I recommend the hotel.

Polite, helpful staff. The rooms are small but clean, there is welcome water) it's a bit noisy with the windows open, but not a lot of fuss, mainly concerns the early morning prayer, they will wake you up anyway) Irina is a wonderful woman, she cooks very well, and she has a variety of hearty breakfasts. The hotel is more like a hostel for migrants. Everything is dead, everything is old, and originally executed very poorly. The cheapest materials, sloppy repairs in a hurry. Dirty shower room, watered, battered furniture, and an interesting solution to the front door is to paste a sound insulation material. And this is four stars, at best - 3 with a minus. I don't recommend it. Continuation of the review. The next morning after the publication of this review, a Russian-speaking manager approached us and explained that the room we were staying in was temporary, due to the full occupancy of the hotel… (it is unclear why to confirm the tour if the hotel is full) * and we only went for 2 nights. The next evening we were given a better room. *An interesting design solution is the bathroom door - glass "office", without a lock and with 1 cm slits (visible in the photo) The hotel certainly has advantages: good breakfast, polite staff, with whom you absolutely do not want to conflict, polite Russian-speaking administrator, good location, regular cleaning.

As soon as we returned home, I immediately write a review. We had a vacation with my sister from April 23 to April 29, 2026. The hotel is small and cozy, very conveniently located, not far from all the attractions in the Sultan Akhmet area, not on the mountain, not under the mountain! Cleaning is daily, the rooms are small like in a small city hotel without a balcony, everything is old, but everything works for five! The breakfasts are decent. But the most important thing, of course, is not that. The desire to write a review arose because of the people who work there. Dmitry and Margarita! Thank you for your work, for such attentive attitude to the guests! For the thousand and one stories that you tell your guests to find a place to remember, get there more conveniently, or have a delicious meal! Well done guys! One more piece of advice for first-time visitors, if you plan to take excursions, which is very convenient in the format of several days, do not take from the transfer, this hotel will offer you all excursions! Convenient location, all attractions nearby. Nice hotel, great attitude to the guests, I will definitely come back and recommend it.

An amazing hotel! I chose according to the reviews and was not disappointed! The location is excellent, 5-10 minutes to Sultanahmet Square. The embankment is 15 minutes away. There is a tram stop nearby. There was a supermarket opposite the hotel, and necessary goods could be bought. The breakfasts are good. It's not quite usual for me (onion rings and French fries, for example, were served), but you can get enough. The room is a little tired, but if you plan to walk all day and come there to sleep, then I think it doesn't matter. But what kind of people work here! From the first day of arrival to the last day, it felt like I had come to stay with my best friends. Irina is just a ray of sunshine in the hotel. She always helped and supported me in everything. In eight days, we became friends with her and it was even hard to say goodbye. Dmitry is an expert in all matters. He knows the city better than anyone else, I'm sure. I could always tell you what to see, where to buy things, and how to get to an object. I will definitely return to Istanbul and only to this hotel.

A very pleasant hotel 10 minutes from Hagia Sophia, everything is at hand, a shop around the corner, a very nice restaurant on the corner opposite (I highly recommend trying Adana kebab there), a restaurant with 2 Michelin stars (not there), an old hammam. The flight was delayed, arrived at about 23.30 - they checked in without any questions, on the contrary, they even waited. Registration is 24/7. You can leave your luggage at the check-out and pick it up later. Separately, I would like to mention the shower, which does NOT leak (which I often encounter when traveling)

Excellent location of the hotel, located in the center, all major attractions within walking distance. Many thanks to all the hospitable staff who created the most comfortable conditions: comfortable bed, clean linen, delicious breakfasts (not monotonous). Good sound insulation. I would especially like to mention Dmitry and Irina (Herod), who are very responsive, always ready to prompt, help and resolve issues. I definitely recommend it

The most pleasant experience! Great location: all key attractions are within walking distance. The atmosphere of the ancient city is available. The hotel is clean and cozy. Good breakfasts. The staff is wonderful. Special thanks to Dmitry: he helped with the ideas of where to go, and with logistics. He helped with household issues. Happy birthday - unexpectedly and pleasantly. I recommend the hotel to everyone!

This cozy hotel is within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and other attractions. Convenient location to tram stations and marina. Pleasant receptionist and staff. The room is clean and has everything you need. The breakfast was modest but hearty (several types of cheeses, sausage, vegetables, fruits, eggs, boreks, rolls, sausages, coffee, natural orange juice), we were not hungry.

Great hotel! The rooms are compact, clean, kettle, mugs, welcome tea, coffee. There is soap, gel, shampoo, no toothbrushes and pastes, but it's not critical, there's a store nearby, we went and bought it. The rooms are cleaned daily, the staff responds to any request with lightning speed! The hotel is clean and cozy, the breakfasts are great, varied, always fruits and vegetables, berries, lots of hot dishes, cheeses, sausages, salads, and desserts! Mmm! Delicious! We ate too much before dinner! The coffee is delicious! But!!! The most important thing is the people who work here! There is a wonderful girl named Herod! Good girl! Polite, attentive, reliable,! Always with a smile, always responds to all requests!!! A very valuable employee, I wish there were such people everywhere!!! Dmitry, the hotel manager! This is the real owner of the house! He's rooting for his business! He will always tell you if you have any questions! And where to change the money and where to buy what, where to eat, how to get there, and if necessary, organizes an excursion. Always on duty, everything always works perfectly for him! In general, the impressions of your stay at the hotel are only positive! And you can find flaws everywhere - we didn't look for them! Guys, Dima, and Iroda, stay cool! Good luck to you and your hotel!!! Many thanks to you from Siberia!)

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, it took 40 minutes to get from/to the airport, and you can easily and quickly walk from the hotel to all the attractions. Breakfast is included in the accommodation, very tasty and fresh food, breakfast was always served at different times and never came to an empty distribution, it is constantly updated. The rooms are tired, of course, and they are asking for major repairs, but at the same time they are trying to keep them clean, quite decently. The staff is wonderful, there are Russian-speaking staff. Thank you, we will come back to you again!)

We had a rest in Istanbul from September 8 to September 15. The choice fell on this hotel because of its location, the very center of the historical part of Istanbul Sultan Ahmed + budget + breakfast and dinner included . The rooms "despite the slight shabbiness" are clean and cozy, cleaning every day, I would like to thank the staff, in particular Ira, Dmitry for their attention and kindness, for their participation and solving any issue that we had. We liked everything. We will recommend it, and we will come back ourselves!

Nice budget hotel, the Russian-speaking staff is very friendly. Breakfasts are quite sufficient to avoid thinking about food until lunch. The rooms are clean and tidy. Additional cleaning can be done if desired. The elevator, though small, is fast and silent. The hotel is located within walking distance to markets and many attractions. There is a tram line nearby, and the metro is also within walking distance. Welcome!

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the hotel manager Dmitry. He was a very sociable, involved manager, who told us everything in detail upon arrival, and was as involved as possible with the hotel guests. I quickly got in touch on all issues, and the most important cherry on the cake was when, due to our carelessness, we almost missed the flight, confused the departure day... Dmitry found us on an excursion, for a moment - on a ship to the Prince Islands and informed us that we have such a problem ... with my husband promptly we were deciding what to do ... running ahead, we managed to catch a plane, Dmitry was in touch all the time, did not charge us extra money for the room ... a low bow to the Person. I wish there were more people like that in MY place.According to the hotel, the location is great, everything is within walking distance, breakfasts ... probably like everywhere else in a hotel of this level. And I can't help but say, as an objectively honest person, don't look where the windows go, we were unlucky in this case, we couldn't sleep from one to five in the morning, it was very noisy, the corn was delivered from our hotel and cleaned very loudly.

It's a very cozy place. The main attractions of this city and a large number of cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are small but cozy. The staff is helpful and always ready to help or answer any questions. I would especially like to highlight the administrator Dmitry and an employee named Iroda, they made our vacation as comfortable and unforgettable as possible.

A very nice hotel, located in the old town, five minutes from the square where there are many museums, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and a beautiful park overlooking the Bosphorus. The hotel has delicious breakfasts and friendly staff. Margarita and Dmitry, thank you very much for all your tips: where to change money, where to go to eat. How to get to museums and parks by yourself. Many thanks to all the hotel staff. I really hope to come to Istanbul again and definitely to Albatross. 🫶
