Zoo is free to enter and is supported by altruistic owner. It has good collection of animals but conditions for theirs presentation are not great. Overall it is a good place to visit, especially with children, but don't expect services inside.

It's a good place, don't look at what's on the outskirts of the city and what doesn't look rich. The animals, unlike the metropolitan zoo, are calm and not hunted. Apart from the fact that there is a zoo, there is just a fairly large, clean and pleasant park with tall trees (there are few such places in Armenia). Monkeys are very sociable, begging for food. The African ostrich is a beauty! The main feature of the zoo is the plaques with the names of animals drawn by the artist. Earlier, reviews wrote that animals have little space, but this is a plus or minus: for example, ungulates and ostriches have a lot of space, the lioness does not seem to suffer either. Bears have a place, but perhaps there are not enough toys - they are bored and they are actively interested in visitors (fortunately, the cage is reliable), monkeys live more freely than, say, in Yerevan, a badger sits in a small cage, but maybe there is a meaning in this that is not obvious to visitors, but birds in a cage are always, alas, "birds in a cage." If you go to zoos, go to a good place. In general, Armavir is a lovely town, there are plenty of sights around, it's worth a visit, take a break from the noise of the big city. Some interesting new aviary is being built at the zoo. We wish you success and prosperity!

Overall, it's a good zoo, admission is free. There are cash donations right at the entrance. All the animals have fairly large enclosures except for a lion and 2 monkeys (which are not in a shared enclosure). Very cool brown bears (pictured)

The animals suffer from no water, no food, they are not given we poured them water, they pounced on it, the bowls were dry and overturned, the lion lay like dead and was very thin, did not even walk but tried not to work, the bears also had a dead bird, the bird was already dry on the fence, the Stork had a broken wing, the park is dirty you can't even call it a park, there didn't seem to be any pigs there, but the park itself looked like a pigsty
