Recently, transportation using transport cards was introduced. Many people don't understand how it works, and they take a long time to ask the metro staff at the ticket offices. The bottom line is that the card costs 500 AMD (September 2025). You can use it once in the subway or on other public transport. Next, the card can be replenished for the required number of trips - 150 AMD (one subway ride). After topping up the card through the metro ticket office, you need to wait 2 minutes for the money to be credited to the card. You will not be able to use the replenished card until then. An inconvenient travel system for those who need to use the subway for one or two trips. The subway itself is old. There was a case in my experience when a train arrived with only two cars. The stations are clean, but you have to wait 5-8 minutes for the train.
