We were in Grodno for the first time and this restaurant was recommended to us by a salesman - guide from the Apteka Museum located next to the St. Francis Xavier Church. A cozy large hall. We did not book tables in advance, we were provided with a table without waiting. Be prepared for a long wait for order acceptance due to the large number of visitors. The waitress Ulyana, apologizing for the long wait, accepted the order. The ordered drinks were served quickly, hot dishes arrived in about 15 minutes. A pleasant and unexpected gift from the establishment was in the form of desserts, in honor of birthdays, as well as delicious tea presented in honor of the wedding anniversary. I really liked the food, the portions are incredibly satisfying and delicious. We took draniki with beef tenderloin and venison cutlet, and were delighted. The most unsuccessful meal in Belarus. After reading the excellent reviews about this place, we eagerly booked a table and went to dinner. The tar-tar was not bad, the steak turned out to be ordinary, the grilled vegetables were delicious, the bread was not delicious. But the service upset me the most. We sat down at a small table that barely held all the plates, and as we ate, no one took the dirty dishes off the table. In the end, we finished our meal and finished our drinks at a dirty table. When we were ready to ask for the bill, there was no one in the room. We waited until the hostess passed by and asked to call the waiter, who was sitting with the rest of the staff outside the kitchen door and was not watching the room.

The food is delicious. The waiter Boris was very polite and knew the assortment well. The setting is pretty. The prices are quite high, as it seems to me, by local standards. The atmosphere is great, but the food and prices are something with something. For such a price tag, you can eat in restaurants much higher in class than this one. The service is excellent, only 2 stars, not 1. We ordered a piece of "stewed" venison, one of the most expensive dishes, it felt like it was cooked for 10 minutes, it's not possible to eat, consider that we put a piece of rubber in our mouth. As a result, they took it with them and gave it to the dogs, I take game meat in all establishments, because I love it very much, but I didn't eat anything worse than that, it spoiled all the moods and attitudes towards this institution as much as possible.

Food (unfortunately, we didn't have time to try everything from the menu) -10 out of 5!! 🔥 Borscht with prunes is a masterpiece! Bacon for borscht is a separate masterpiece! Fillet with draniki is perfect!!! Venison tartare is a delight!!! The only difficulty is that on days of high demand (we were on vacation) it is advisable to book in advance (and now it is clear why))) We really want to visit you again, it's a pity that there is no airport in Grodno, we would fly to you from St. Petersburg every month. (There are no photos left , but if they had had time to take them , everything would have been amazing on them too .)

The menu features traditional Belarusian cuisine with an author's accent. We liked everything. Now we understand why this place has such a high rating — expectations completely coincided with reality. It's an amazing place, everything is top notch: food, atmosphere, service. In order: we didn't book a table in advance (it's better not to do that), we came and luck turned to us and there was just one empty table. The menu is varied, the waiter Ulyana helped with the choice, was tactful, unobtrusive, but always somewhere nearby. Food: we ordered draniki with beef medallions and chanterelle sauce, salad with watermelon and feta, potatoes with chanterelles and all for 1000 out of 10. For the children, we were offered to slightly modify the dishes to suit the tastes of those with little teeth, and voila, the plates are empty, they've eaten everything. As a result: if you haven't been to this place yet or are looking for a place where you can have a good evening, you definitely want to go to Google! I can't say that the price for the dish is cheap, but you will definitely get a gastronomic pleasure, the price and quality match.

A group of 40 people was sitting, and half an hour passed between serving the salad and the hot one. All this could easily have been settled with an explanation or an apology from the administration, but no one came out and explained anything. The waiters ignored the guests as if this was the norm. The guests were hungry and annoyed, and half of them ran away without waiting for dessert and not even knowing that it was there. After the waiter's words, another dessert, we were horrified, suspecting that we would have to sit and wait for another hour. Thanks, but no thanks. Dessert was served quickly, to be fair. Dear restaurant management, don't do that. There are no complaints about the food, it's delicious, just after waiting, the appetite disappeared.
