I always eat at Vasilki anytime I’m in Minsk, and mostly in this particular restaurant. Friendly staff, they’re always patient with me and my poor Russian 😁 The food is absolutely outstanding, very affordable, tasty, and well-prepared… and Belarusian.

RACIST waitress against non-Russian speaker/Asian faces. We asked to order several times and no one cares to come. Then this waitress with big glasses came and could not speak even one single English word. We asked someone else to take the order and this girl just stood there, refusing to do anything. We were like, fine, we just point to the dishes. This girl pretended to write something on an already fully filled paper. After several dishes were pretended to be written, she used her phone to translate a sentence “this may take more than one hour”. I am pretty sure nothing we ordered should take one hour at 9:30pm. That was just a cunning way to kick us out. Well, probably I should not expect anyone would act like a normal person in this Russian country. If you don’t speak Russian, you are not eligible to come to this fancy restaurant

It was my first restaurant and meal experience in Belarus. Because for me, first of all, these are draniki. I wasn't very impressed with them here. We took several positions: "Yuletide" pancakes with curd cream and fish, in general, probably for an amateur, not wow to be honest. The potatoes with a fold were out of competition, it was incredibly delicious. My husband took a salad and draniki, he liked everything. The service and staff were excellent. The waiting time was fast enough, everything in the photo arrived in just 15 minutes. The atmosphere was homely, it was pleasant and comfortable to be there. But the draniki... oh, they didn't surprise me...(

I ordered potato chips with meat and mushrooms and cherry kvass (incredibly delicious). And my husband was eating a burger with a deer and also drinking kvass. I liked everything, it was delicious. And suddenly the waiter Alexey, who served us, arrives. He said he couldn't leave me without a compliment on my holiday and brought me an ice cream cone! Thank you, I was touched. Convenient location, close to the train station, which is convenient from the road. We stopped by for lunch and dinner. There is a large selection of national dishes for those who want to try local cuisine, there is a children's menu. We tried cabbage soup, hodgepodge, sausages, sandwiches, even a hop board with a set of tinctures was not refused, and, of course, various versions of draniki. Everything is very tasty. The portions are large and very satisfying. For a family of two adults and two children, the average check is 110-120 Belarusian rubles. I recommend it!!!

The Vasilki cafe chain as a national brand of Belarus. Usually, the presence of a nearby railway station does not inspire confidence in the institution. BUT! here is a completely different story. The kitchen is colorful, I liked everything. Kvass with orange is above all praise. The food is served quickly, the waiters are polite. We returned the next day to try other dishes. The prices are above average, but fully meet the expectations of lunch/dinner. Everyone who will be in Minsk must visit this particular location.

I won't say that it's bad, it's just not tasty. They took the Zeppelins and the Potato Granny. Both dishes tasted like corn starch. The Zeppelins were the worst, there wasn't much meat in the middle, and they looked bigger in the picture than they actually were. Both dishes seemed bland and saltless, but in the end they were not finished, they were left as they were. But for the kindness of the hostesses, and the courtesy of the waiter, you can put an asterisk for good service. There is also a good place in the interior, clean tables and comfortable chairs and sofas. We met the service time, cold dishes 15 minutes, hot 40 at 17 o'clock.

I came here before leaving Minsk on July 11. I ordered pancakes with cottage cheese and strawberries, as well as chicken thighs with hearts, and it turned out to be sooooo delicious (even better than the pancakes at another Cornflower restaurant) The staff is friendly, they gave us a table right away and warned us that there would be an average wait of 45 minutes for a hot meal. But they brought it for 15 and it was very pleasant. 🥰

This restaurant is popular not only in Belarus, but tourists go there in droves not just to eat, but to enjoy the atmosphere, menu, and atmosphere. Excellent restaurant chain of Belarusian cuisine. A very large menu for every taste! And everything is delicious! And salads, and second courses, and desserts! I liked all the dishes. We visited the one next to the railway and bus station. There were 2 times. We just had lunch once, we didn't take desserts. We paid 2,700. We had lunch for the second time before leaving for Moscow, stayed longer, and took desserts after coffee. 3500 was paid. But I really liked everything.

When we arrived in Minsk, we decided to eat at a local restaurant with Belarusian cuisine. We chose the cafe "Cornflowers" because of the 5.0 rating (which, by the way, does not correspond to reality). The waitress was nice, there are no questions for the girl! The questions appeared when the food arrived. I decided to order a salad with warm chicken and bacon (alas, no matter how ironic it may sound, it did not match the name). The food was cold, as if it had been cooked in the morning, covered with foil, then warmed up. The meat was leathery. The dried bacon, as I understand it, was left over from breakfast, but they decided not to throw it away, but to add it to another dish. The croutons had a medicinal taste because of the dressing (of which there was a lot). The draniki themselves were warm, but there was no addition in the form of gravy with mushrooms or something else. Disappointed. We were waiting for a completely different level with such ratings and praise in the reviews.

I don't recommend it. It 's not delicious . Let 's go through the reviews . We tried it . It is not possible to eat . We ate the salad , we were very hungry from the trip , and we drank coffee . Unfortunately , the draniki were very disappointing . They couldn 't eat it , even if they were hungry . Complete disappointment . They are being prepared for the stream . Waiters are used to people leaving when there are full plates on the table . They don't even ask if you liked everything? How do you like the dishes?! Because there is no need to ask , they themselves know that it is not possible . It is this place that is designed for the flow . Not for the quality and taste ! If you don't want to be very disappointed and waste your money, then I really don't recommend this place, unfortunately. And we came so inspired to eat the national cuisine . A great restaurant with reasonable prices. It is located in the Galileo shopping center, floor 4. The average cooking time is 25-30 minutes. The staff is calm, knows the menu - they can explain the choice. Meat is cooked deliciously, burgers, soups. We took draniki and dumplings, it seemed lean. But it's for everyone's taste. If you take a table by the window, you have a good view of the avenue. I liked the place, I RECOMMEND it.

It's a beautiful place! Our vacation in Minsk began with this cafe. We also visited other establishments of the Vasilki chain, and we liked it the most here (near the train station). We ordered two salads, 1 normal, the second is drowning in a ton of oil. It is impossible to slurp butter with a spoon only if. Everything is very greasy. The staff said that the salad is normal, although there is no such thing in the second one. I have a weak stomach and ordered a specially light salad, but the photo is attached. Even after looking at two identical salads, one of which has almost no oil, and the second one has a liter, the staff said that this is the norm. The toilets are dead and stink, the service is very long and rude. The worst restaurant in this chain, I don't recommend it.

I was with my wife at this institution. Thanks to the girl who moved us to a window with a beautiful view. There are no questions about the service, we just waited a very long time to ask for the bill. I liked the cabbage soup with chanterelles, but it was a little warm. The rest of the dishes are very greasy, I can't say that it was delicious - it was a three, actually I gave this rating. Not to say that it's terrible, but we definitely won't come back here. In my opinion, it is a very overrated place.

I went after the train to Cornflowers near the station, on the 6th floor. To be honest, the only thing that saves the place is the location — it's convenient when you just need to eat somewhere after/ before the train. The impression was below average. The waiters immediately warned that they would have to wait for 30 minutes, and there are no questions for them. It is clear that the guys are really tired, the atmosphere at the entrance is also not the kindest and the hostesses are not particularly cheerful. I've been to other places and networks for food, and I've always recommended my friends to come in, but this is different. The dumplings were brought simply in boiling water from a kettle, without broth, the taste of dough and meat is empty. The draniki are so salty that you don't want dessert after them, but a liter of water and back to Moscow to wash off the impression. Kvass and smoothies are normal. The case when a cafe lives off a recognizable brand and a convenient address.

we visited this institution on a recommendation. we waited a long time (although we came to the very discovery), apparently, we filled up and finished our coffee :) When the drinks arrived, the disappointment came immediately. Raff with spices is the most common raff to taste. Sprinkled with cinnamon on top. And everything. Food is darkness. For that price, it would be possible to wipe the plates and saucers of food. It was piled up like in a canteen. Porridge drops on the edge of the plate, saucepans with huge smudges of contents. Okay, the serving, but the food was COLD. Absolutely. The waiters also leave much to be desired. At least start smiling first :) I hope we won't get poisoned, have a nice day, never come here if you don't want to spoil the impression of the gastronomy of Minsk and Belarus in general.

I didn't know what to do with myself on a 10-hour transfer in Minsk, and even in the rain. I decided to go at least have a delicious meal, I didn't regret anything))) I took the draniki "with baking" and a curd dessert with berries. But the most important thing is that you can get here from the airport without going out in the rain at all. From the train station right here, because nearby is the place raspiarino. The impressions are negative. Disappointment. We took 3 positions of shingles, very mediocre. The child tried it at all and did not eat. Although he eats homemade food with joy. Tea is only in tea bags. It's a restaurant and tea bags… We waited 40 minutes for the order, although there were few people. There are no complaints about the service and staff, everything is fine. The toilet looks clean, but it smells like a train station. But the cleanliness in the hall is a mess, I even decided to take a picture. It looks like the dust hasn't been wiped off since the establishment opened.
