We decided to go to the waffle house "Vaffel" to have a bite to eat. At first glance, I really liked the place: the bright interior, lots of colors, a cozy atmosphere and a very unusual idea with a mirror on the ceiling — it looks beautiful and modern, I wanted to look at every detail. The service also left a pleasant impression. The waitress was very polite, smiling and brought all the orders quickly. Thank you for her good mood and attentiveness! I ordered a waffle with salmon, cottage cheese and lettuce leaves. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it — the salmon seemed too salty, although the menu indicated that it was lightly salted. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, but there was too much salt for me. I ordered a latte from the drinks, and I really liked the coffee! Rich, delicious, with a pleasant milk foam — I would love to order it again. ☕ Generally speaking, I would definitely recommend going here. Especially if you want to drink good coffee, relax in a beautiful place and try sweet waffles — they are just incredibly delicious here! It is for them and the atmosphere that I want to come back again. 💛

Great location in the center of Brest! We were here on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service, the waitress was a young, but very nice and attentive girl, kindly talked with us, told us in detail about the menu and advised hits, and also shared recommendations for the city. On my birthday, I received a compliment from the establishment, in the form of a large sweet waffle and with pleasant wishes. I really like waffles in this establishment, "Hawaiian" is my favorite, it combines a range of bright flavors, chicken with pineapple and a slightly spicy sweet chili sauce. The cafe is located on Sovetskaya St., and this is the biggest plus of this institution. There is a veranda with tables on the street, but for some reason the waiters did not come up. After waiting for 15 minutes, we went inside to ask if the order was being accepted on the terrace, to which the answer was to wait a little longer. After a while, the waiter came over. The Caesar salad was delicious, but the waffles that the cafe specializes in were unsuccessful. The dough had a sour taste, which then affected the stomach. Ptim carbonara is served with bacon, but we had to look for it in a plate, as you can see in the photo. In general, I do not recommend it for lovers of good cuisine. And if you listen to live music on the street, it's fine!

I visited this place on 11.04. I ordered a waffle with shrimp and cappuccino. The waffle arrived almost immediately. I tried it and found chicken instead of shrimp, looked at the menu and assumed that it was a Caesar waffle, turned to the waiter, said that they probably got the order mixed up, he asked to wait, a minute later he came up and said that everything was correct and this was the waffle that I ordered. I pointed out again that it had chicken instead of shrimp, to which the guy began to say something unintelligible, saying that their menu had changed. Next, my waffle was brought to the girl at the next table (she also pointed out the mistake and asked to be replaced with the waffle she ordered). In general, I did not start a conflict and forgave this joint (and paid like for a shrimp waffle), because I understand that anything can happen. But it is very unpleasant that instead of just admitting his mistake and apologizing, the waiter began to deny and lie. The cappuccino arrived by the way when I had already finished the waffle, but the girl at least apologized for the delay. It's okay to make mistakes. But first of all, you need to be customer-oriented so that the guest leaves satisfied, and not with an unpleasant aftertaste and without mood. Sometimes it's just enough to apologize and replace the item in the receipt, or make a small discount.

After 2 minutes, the waiter returns saying that the coffee machine is not working and offered to choose another drink (we settled on a pistachio cocktail). After 15-20 minutes, waffles were brought to us. Dry and cold, unfortunately. The arugula was frankly wilted. There's only a name for the pistachio cocktail. It feels like regular milk has been mixed with powdered milk and whipped. There are no napkins on the tables, literally 4 pieces were in the container with the appliances. About 15 minutes after we finished eating, we couldn't stand it and went to ask for the counter bill. The waiter did not even think to remove the empty dishes and offer the bill. Most likely, we will not return to this institution anymore. Although the service was good the first time, and the waffles were delicious.

A turnkey toilet, available at the bar. There is a piece of paper on the toilet itself that only visitors are allowed in. Although according to legal norms, they do not have the right to refuse a person from the street according to the law. There were no napkins near the washbasin, and there were no napkins at our table either, so I had to take them from neighboring tables on my own. There were about 3 tables in the hall, and we couldn't wait for the waiter for 10-15 minutes, so we had to go to the bar ourselves and call. The menu says that there is ice cream, when asked what kind, the waiter could not answer us. He ran to the kitchen to ask if there was any, then he came to us and answered that there was, when they asked what tastes the waiter dropped out again. As a result, another employee came up and told me. Our bottom line is departure. If I wasn't in the city passing through, I would have written a complaint to the sanitary station.

The worst service! We went in for coffee and waffles. We waited for the order for 40 minutes, after which the waitress came over... to clarify exactly what we ordered!
