The dishes here are worthy of a separate ode: noble and stylish, perfect lines of dishes that make even a modest snack a work of art. Tactile delight sets the tone — you feel like you've fallen into the hands of professionals who appreciate details. Everything is delicious: an exquisite duck salad with a perfect balance of ingredients, chicken kebab and much more. But for me, the magic pizza became the gold of the program. It's not food, it's an ode to airiness! The dough is the thinnest, almost weightless, but at the same time with that crispy side that breaks with a melodious sound and crumbles into golden crumbs. The base is weightless, like a cloud, and holds a noble gorgonzola that melts with velvet, and juicy mushrooms that add earthy depth. Each bite is a symphony of contrasts: crunch, softness, salty cheese and the sweetness of warm dough. This is a dream pizza that you want to finish even with effort, just to prolong the enjoyment. The dessert finale is a separate act of perfection. Tiramisu melts in your mouth, leaving a coffee-creamy aftertaste that you want to remember forever. Cheesecake is silky, dense, but weightless, with impeccable sourness. I celebrated my birthday here. Ah, this is a separate performance, worthy of the warmest words! Umamiya doesn't just know how to feed, it turns a birthday party into a small Italian opera, where the main character is the birthday boy himself. The moment the waiters find out about the holiday, the air begins to vibrate with anticipation. The first act is the legendary "Felicità" — this sunny melody spreads through the hall, and even the sea outside the window begins to dance to the beat. The music was not chosen by chance: it seems to translate wishes for happiness into a universal language of emotions. And so, to the accompaniment, a dessert appears — but not a simple one, but a mochi with a birthday candle burning with a steady, trembling flame. But the climax is ahead! Next, a mini-firework is brought out — a shower of sparks that illuminates the smiles at the neighboring tables. At this moment, the entire staff freezes, and then explodes into a single chorus of applause. And the most amazing thing is that all the guests join them — even those who just came to have dinner. I was upset with how the hostess girl met us, we wanted to sit on the sofas, but we were told that these seats were for 4 people (there were two of us) we sat down at a table for two, less than 10 minutes later, a couple of two people sat down at these sofas, if you adhere to this policy of the restaurant, then it should be applicable to all guests. The restaurant is not cheap and such a departure is not acceptable. When I left, I asked the hostess girl why she did that, of course she couldn't answer, apparently they meet according to an external criterion. Secondly , the music was playing very loudly , as if we were sitting in a nightclub , it was impossible to talk , we had to shout .

New renovation, stylish design, interesting menu, good dishes, beautiful serving. The cuisine is European and Asian. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were at the restaurant in the middle of March, around 7 p.m. There was another table besides us. So it's not crowded inside. The price is above average. Such restaurants are not about eating well, but having an aesthetically pleasing time. The portions are small. If you want to have a party so that the table is full, then it's better to go to a cafe of national cuisine.

The service is lame as everywhere else: the waiter girl sat us down at the table, after 2 minutes it turned out that it was booked and the guests came, but the situation was quickly resolved. There were no napkins on the table and they were not brought. There were 3 girls at the next table, but there were only 2 chairs, and one of them stood for half an hour until she found a chair for herself, zero attention from the staff. The girls sat next to us for another stoic for about 15 minutes and left without coming up to them. In general, the conclusion is: good, but the price is a little too high, it does not match the quality. The rating is 4 out of 5.

I can say for sure that this is the best place in Sukhum. The first time we came by chance, walking along the embankment. We tried the pasta - the taste and serving exceeded all our expectations. Today, to be honest, we went specifically to try the rolls and make sure that the first visit was not just luck, luck and the good mood of the chefs (previously, the locals praised and advised us only Leon). I have no words to describe all my emotions from these masterpieces. It's the tastiest rolls I've EVER tasted, but we're from St. Petersburg and it's really hard to surprise us. The service is excellent (it's a pity that we didn't ask for the name of our Charming waitress (note to the management - badges would simplify this aspect). Yes, the prices are not small, but the dishes are worth the money. By the way, the first time we couldn't handle the pizza, and the receptionist came up to us and offered to pack it with him. We had a table booked in advance, the hostess met us when we visited, then for some reason we were directed to the waiter, as a result of this confusion we realized that our reservation was not there, and the staff was looking for an empty table for us. The atmosphere is really beautiful, there are glasses for water on the tables, but without the water itself, and I will say in advance that no one brought water for the guests during the entire visit, apparently glasses for beauty. In terms of food, everything was available and quickly cooked, but the quality was lame, for example, the pizza was burnt, the broken cucumbers were bitter, there were only 4 shrimps in the expensive pasta, and those were unpeeled. In general, it gives the impression of an expensive good restaurant, in fact an ordinary beach cafe with inflated prices. Would I come here again? Probably not.

The restaurant is beyond praise! Finally, an institution has been opened in Sukhumi where you can have a decent meal. As a resident of the gastronomic capital of Russia, I can confidently say that everything is delicious here, and the service is the best in Abkhazia. What made me admire the institution and its founders and management: 1 - high level of hospitality and service, 2 - a decent wine list, the first establishment in Sukhum with a selection of Italian wines, this got into the very heart, 3 - desserts, they can be celebrated forever, everything was delicious, but I would like to mention tiramisu separately - a delicate, balanced and mochi dessert that previously caused rejection, in Umamia above all praise, 4 - cuisine is consistently delicious, it's an indicator of professionalism! Be sure to try black cod with risotto and veal cheeks, it's a real bomb here! 5 - steaks and better roasting skills, I take my hat off, again the only place in Sukhum where you will be fed "proper" meat. The prices are inadequately set, while the menu is modest, half of the roll items are not available. We had to pretend to be a wild and angry mu.. only then she left with apologies. And the waitresses were polite and happy when they praised the dish. Cuisine: the pizza filling is good ( pear , gorgonzala , a little more cheese , but this is for my "Italian " taste. But, here is the dough itself, with a local flavor - it looks more like a khachapuri "boat". But spaghetti carbonara, with beef bacon, is above all praise. The coffee is good, and the salad with spinach and squid is good too. Therefore, I recommend it!

We were attracted by the look of the place and the stylish interior — we wanted to go in and enjoy the European cuisine and the sea view. Unfortunately, the expectations were not fulfilled: the work of the staff and the kitchen completely spoiled the impression. The service, as you know, is the face of the institution, and here it clearly needs to be given more attention. At the entrance, we were not offered to place outerwear. When choosing a cocktail, the waiter was able to recommend only one item, and when ordering a hot one, he simply said, "This is my favorite dish," without even asking about our preferences. The pasta turned out to be overcooked (or not cooked — check for yourself) to a state of hardness, and the waiter replied that it should be so because of the variety of pasta. Although it was worth warning about this when ordering. Unfortunately, it seems that the institution is trying to "jump over its head" by setting high prices and the status of the restaurant, but neither the level of service nor the quality of the dishes correspond to this status. We do not recommend this establishment.

The salad is green, too, with a disgusting dressing. The cost does not match the quality. To come here is just to drink tea with a beautiful view. There is no understanding of cuisine here. On Mandarin's day, January 10, 2026, we decided to have lunch with pieces of cakes. We went to this place where they immediately presented instead of greeting us "you can't bring your food to us." I didn't get a pleasant impression right away. The service is not very good, the cuisine is delicious. They don't "usually" give out spoons for pasta. We had to get up ourselves to call the staff that brought the spoons. It says restaurant, the prices are not objectively high. Guys, pass by, better go to another place.
