We were in the VIP area, right on the lake. The view was amazing, and the staff were helpful. We tried the “standard” dishes here — lake fish in all its forms 😉 and, of course, their special fried potatoes. Everything was really tasty!

Waited more than an hour for a seat with the family. The fish wasn’t so tasty. Other food options were okay. It used to be really good place to visit on the Sevan road, not anymore.

Пригласила иностранных гостей в ресторан, слышала неоднократно что очень хорошее место. Заказали нормальный стол, как итог, шашлык был ужасным, пересоленный, перегорелый, сухой. Мне было так стыдно перед гостями, я даже не могла доесть то что они подали. После оплаты сказала "почему у вас все такое соленое?" Мне ответили "ну мы армяне у нас вот такое соленое любят" (опустим тот момент что я армянка проживающая в Ереване). В общем, если вы армяне любящее все соленое, перегорелое и сухое, это идеальное место для вас, но не приглашайте сюда иностранных гостей, не позорьте армянскую кухню.

On 05/17/2026, we visited one of the best fish restaurants, U Semo, which is located on the shores of the most beautiful Lake Sevan, which is home to a salmon family fish - the most delicate whitefish! The restaurant has a magnificent view from the second floor from the window and from the balcony to the lake and mountains! We were greeted by a very polite staff and we made a whitefish order, which was ready in 7 minutes! We ordered: of course, a very, very tasty whitefish kebab (1,700 drams), which is why we come here, whitefish kebab (1,000 drams), pickled whitefish (1,000 drams), canned whitefish in tomato sauce (1,000 drams), potato "grater" in butter (1,200 drams), fried potatoes (700 drams), summer salad (1500 drams), dogwood compote. The prices here are very affordable! There are no complaints about shish kebab, salad and compote! The barbecue is aerobatic!!! But everything else this time was sooooo salty, and it was very upsetting. I would like the restaurant's chefs to take this remark into account (you don't have a brasserie). We wish all the employees of this wonderful restaurant good luck and prosperity. We are very grateful to them for their service. We hope that before our next visit, all the excess salt will disappear)))

We stopped at the Semo's restaurant after the tour. We rented a viewing booth — it's pure delight! It feels like you're at sea: seagulls, lake breeze, incredible beauty.For the first time we tried lyulya and shish kebab from whitefish on the grill with Alexandropol beer. The portions are huge, and the fish is really delicious. However, later the locals shared a secret that the restaurant sometimes commits the sin of using frozen fish. It didn't affect our taste perception, but we checked the box for ourselves. For the atmosphere and taste — a solid four!

It's a great place! The shish kebab from Whitefish is simply incredible, and pork has also not been tried for a long time! We ordered two types of shrimp. I can't even choose which ones are better. They are simply divine. Vegetables, herbs, bread are all the freshest! Breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. We had fish kebabs, vegetable salads, meat, tea, white cherry jam, baklava. Everything is very tasty cooked. The fish is juicy, the vegetables are fresh. It's worth coming here for the sake of the view! Seagulls and azure Sevan. A great place for any gatherings. The only negative is the service. Very detached and closed employees. We could have been more polite considering that we paid 10k extra for the VIP room. The food is good, without enthusiasm. Good price and of course the view. I advise you to visit!!

Despite the huge number of seats, the service was fast and courteous. It was quite tasty for us. Not every dish is a masterpiece, the average score is 4+. We tried 5 whitefish dishes: 1. Marinated (juicy, without excessive fishy odors, fire with potatoes, but too salty for our taste, a couple of pieces per person will be more than enough). 2. Shish kebab from whitefish (slightly crunchy, bright taste, salt standards). 3. Kebab (it's a triple, slightly rubbery, you can't tell the taste. If I didn't know what it was made of, I wouldn't have guessed it). 4. Fried whitefish (tender, delicious) 5. Stewed with potatoes, peppers and tomatoes in soup-type broth (wonderful, tender, rich). If I visit Armenia again, I will be happy to go again.

Incredibly delicious cuisine, very pleasant service, separate tables with railings, immediately followed by Sevan and seagulls. We foolishly ordered three compotes, so we found a way to "pack" them with us! The only caveat is that one serving is enough to eat "from the belly" for three people. You can't eat much. We didn't get into the restaurant because there was a huge queue. We arrived on Saturday afternoon. And basically it's not a restaurant, but a whole city. It's not clear where to go, there's a lot of fuss and a bunch of people just walking around like chickens with their heads off. Several levels of landing zones. The building has rooms, a veranda with glass cabinets, tents on the veranda. There is a surcharge of 10 thousand drams for individual rooms. And they were busy too. We barely found the receptionist with a notebook, he said to come back in half an hour. We froze and left. One star for the seagulls, of which there are super many and they fly around very beautifully)
