The Church of the Holy Spirit, Heiliggeistkirche, one of the oldest Roman Catholic parish churches, is located in the very center of Munich and has survived to the present day. The building was founded in 1208 as a chapel at the hospital, later received its own parish, in 1730 it was rebuilt in the Baroque style, and a bell tower was built. The monumental building impresses with its beauty: sculptures, columns give the church a majestic appearance. The interior is decorated in soft colors, there are luxurious works of art, frescoes, snow-white columns. You can come here to listen to the organ, services are held here. Thanks to the guide, we learned a lot of interesting things.
