Nice place. Cakes and pies from childhood, there are classic ones with buttercream) Oscar - bomb coffee. A terribly interesting recipe, definitely worth a try. Dear sellers. It is clear that the establishment is loved not only by tourists, but also by locals, there are many companies of elegant ladies who stopped by to drink coffee with dessert. Well, the entourage with decor is a special pleasure.

The central supermarket in Minsk is a landmark point for food. You need to come here for the atmosphere and for show. It's actually a peculiar place, but it's so legendary that it's based on its name. If you want to feel the spirit of the Soviet Union, to get into the past in a minute, like on a time machine, then you must go to the Central supermarket. The entire ground floor is occupied by a cafe, in which the main position is the Dream cake, which everyone goes for. It is sold entirely in boxes, it costs almost 38 Belarusian rubles, which is about 1,000 Russian rubles. And, surprisingly, there is a lot of it in the windows, and, obviously, it is being sold out! There are also showcases with portioned desserts and there you can take this cake in one piece. The taste is clear: sponge cake, condensed milk, greasy cream. A taste of nostalgia. Calories are not counted here, they do not affect happiness! In addition to the "dream", coffee with Oscar cognac is considered legendary. The taste of these two positions is like "all the best at once" from the Soviet era. There are other "retro" desserts, from "Warsaw pastry" to "kurabye". The interior of the cafeteria attracts attention and is memorable. The bar is about 40 meters long and has a table along the windows with a view of the central avenue of the city, where guests are treated to desserts. Arches, panes of "Soviet times" with still lifes in the spirit of that time; stucco molding, chandeliers in the "Stalinist style". And all this is complemented by colorful staff, as if "stuck" in time. Overall, it's a very cool, unique experience and feeling from visiting. As they say, they ticked the box.

It turned out to be a cold day in Minsk, and my friend and I remembered about the trendy coffee with warming cognac. We were lucky to be five minutes from the "Central", where people go for such a novelty. There was a choice of coffee with cognac and Oscar coffee. As I was told, the difference is in the milk component and the foam. Oscar is usually taken because of its delicate texture and interesting aftertaste, so I decided. The coffee itself is very tasty, the place is pleasant and festive. However, the cognac itself was not felt at all.. It was as if they had simply forgotten to pour it, confusing the order with the usual raff. I think we'll go back, since the list of positions is large and it's nice to be in the Central One, but I'll remove the asterisk for frustration:(
