She is a very friendly and sweet woman who understands clients perfectly. Thank you very much! In front of this store, we bought spices, fruits and vegetables at a small discount from various sellers. They paid 50 tetris (0.5lari) for parking at the exit. Prices at the market and in the city are about the same, but here the assortment is large. They even found figs, but there were no shops in the city markets.

The central market of Kobuleti is a place where life goes its own way, not obeying fashion and time. Everything here has remained the same as it used to be in the Soviet years, when people went to the market not just for food, but for socializing. Stone rows, the smell of fresh herbs, conversations in Georgian, Russian, sometimes in a mixture of everything at once. Old women with dark eyes sell greens like their mothers and grandmothers, and everyone knows their product tastes. If you ask about cilantro, they will definitely tell you where it grew, under what sun, and advise you on what to serve it with. I was told that this market has been here since the middle of the last century, and many stalls are inherited as a family business and as a memory. You look at people and realize that everyone has their own story. Here's a grandfather with neatly stacked nuts—he says his father was a trader before the war. And a little further on, a young girl with a spice counter laughs and tells me that her uncle collects everything in the mountains. Everything is real here. Watermelons are heavy, tomatoes smell of summer, honey pours in a thick stream. Someone is arguing about the price, but they are arguing without anger — more for the sake of excitement, for the sake of the process itself. No one is in a hurry here. You can just walk between the rows, listen to the sellers calling to each other, and catch this feeling — as if time has stopped. That's why I love this market. For a life without too much glitter, for real people and for that special atmosphere of the old Georgian south, where everything breathes warmth and dignity. When you leave, you smell fruits and sunshine, and for some reason you feel a little happier.
