The conditions these animals are forced to live in are absolutely heartbreaking. Zoos like this should have been shut down long ago, yet I still made the mistake of visiting because I wanted to see for myself how the animals were being treated. It was devastating to witness. My heart breaks for these animals, who are condemned to spend their lives suffering in such conditions. What’s even more shocking is that no one seems to monitor visitors or stop them from feeding the animals whatever they happen to have. The complete lack of care and responsibility is unacceptable.

The territory is large. Large enclosures with animals, they are definitely not infringed upon. All the animals are in excellent condition and well-being. There are hippopotamuses, camels, elephants, rhinoceros, deer, lemurs, tigers, lions, zebras, and even kangaroos. This is the first time I've seen such a combination of animals in one zoo, at such a low cost. Only the crocodile was not found. Perhaps he was in a closed paid compartment, such as reptiles. I strongly advise you to come after 16-17, the heat is not so strong and all the animals are starting to wake up. Cons: children's entertainment / attractions - just pass by, it's something left over from the 90s, very old. One modern steam train is running. In outdoor pools, you can take care of the water a little or cover it with something.Turtles in the water with leaves. The territory itself needs to be refreshed, at least the steps should be made without breaks, but children still come and can scratch their feet badly. The exterior buildings should also be refreshed, at least painted. But if you come only for the sake of the animals, without hoping for something more, then you will really like it. We're thrilled. And yes, all the animals are very close. Right at arm 's length . It's great.

The animals look bad, the enclosures, cages, and pens are in terrible condition, and there is dirt everywhere that has not been cleaned for years. The windows to the elephants and the hippopotamus have not been washed since the opening. The path to the pelicans is not equipped, legs can be broken there. As a result, if you are exploring the city and just want to look at the most basic animals (deer, donkeys, parrots, llamas, lemurs, one kind of monkey and a few more), then this zoo will take you for 4 lari for 30 minutes. Otherwise, I don't see any point in returning here ever again. In August, at 30+, the heat of the animals is especially sad and bad, and this has already made me sad.
