The Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater is not just a theater, but a real art legend created by the iconic Georgian artist, screenwriter and director Rezo Gabriadze. From the outside, the theater building looks like an illustration from a fairy tale book: an asymmetrical tower decorated with mosaics, intricate patterns, and ancient bricks that seem to have survived the centuries. I recommend visiting this location while walking around Tbilisi.

The Tbilisi State Puppet Theater named after Rezo Gabriadze, a great director, playwright, and screenwriter (there would be no cult films #Kindza_dza and #Mimino without him), and an artist and a sculptor (he molded St. Petersburg's #Chizhik_Puff and #Nose). In 2010, a clock tower was added to the theater building. Every hour, a golden-winged angel appears from the painted doors at the top of the tower and strikes the hour with a hammer on the bell. The tiled decorations on the facade were made by Rezo Gabriadze himself. ✨✨✨ They are incredibly beautiful!

On our second trip to Georgia, we finally visited this place. I really liked it. We just got to see a short puppet show. Of course, a huge number of people are gathering. All for the sake of a two-minute performance. The place looks beautiful and interesting. It is located in the Old City of Tbilisi
