A wonderful small museum located in the very center of Tbilisi. The entrance is hidden: first you have to go through the iron gate, and then turn right into the white door, I left the photos on purpose. Admission is 5 lari and 5 lari per person per tour in good Russian. Strictly speaking, there are three halls: Georgian, Oriental (mainly Armenia and Azerbaijan) and European. They told us everything, showed us a film of how Georgian ancient musical instruments sound, and gave us hurdy-gurdy, gramophone, and music cabinets to listen to. The guide played the harmonium for us. We had a lot of fun!

It's one of the best museums I've ever been to. It's small, there are only two halls. But there are a lot of interesting things in them. Please do not skimp on the tour, apart from the entrance itself. It costs very little, but the man who conducts the tour in Russian did it very interestingly. He talked about all the tools in an engaging way, and some interesting facts. And he even played the piano himself, turned on the hurdy-gurdy and the music cabinet - it was all in the hall of European instruments. Unfortunately, you can't play in the Georgian hall, because the exhibits are really old. But you can enjoy the game when the mini-movie is on. In general, I highly recommend this museum!

A soulful museum with an interesting collection of instruments, including rare ones. But! Be sure to take a guided tour (total GEL 5)! The exposition will sparkle with completely different colors. A guide with knowledge and love of music will tell you about the history and peculiarities of Georgian musical instruments, show you instruments from different regions of Georgia and include a film with their sound. Then there will be 2 more halls with instruments from other countries waiting for you, the guide will play many of them for you, you can see how the mechanisms work. Very interesting!

An absolutely charming museum. Cozy, atmospheric. Be sure to take a guided tour. George is a wonderful guide. You will hear not only an interesting story about each exhibit, but also the lively sound of some of the instruments presented. Watch a short movie. I highly recommend it. The entrance is 5 lari, the tour is 5 lari more. The pleasure is priceless!

Be sure to go to hear the sounds of instruments that are no longer anywhere and chat with a pleasant guide. A warm and cozy museum. I want to come back again!

It's a very warm and cozy museum. National Georgian, European, Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Israeli instruments are presented. An interesting tour, during which you can listen live to hurdy-gurdy, gramophone, harmonium, music cabinets. It is better to make an appointment by phone so as not to cross paths with other visitors.

I really liked it. The tour turned out to be fascinating. By presenting the tools in the right context, a woman can easily answer any questions. In addition, you can see these tools in action in the accompanying video. It's definitely worth spending an hour on it. It's a real pleasure.

An excellent museum, where there are serviceable working tools that are rare. The guide tells interesting stories and plays instruments. They show an 8-minute video about the story. Disabled people cannot pass - stairs. March`24

If you have time and love music, be sure to visit this museum! And take a tour - it's inexpensive. It's amazing how such a capacious exposition could fit in such a small space.

The museum is interesting, but there is little about the history of the indigenous people of Georgia, fortresses, temples, and household items. It was useful to learn about the history of communism and the genocide.
