We visited the museum on a weekday — the Magnum agency's exhibition runs until September 18, 2025. Admission is free, the museum is open until 19:00 on weekdays, until 20:00 on weekends. The atmosphere is very special: all windows are tightly curtained, there are low tables with lamps in the middle of the hall, you can sit on pillows, browse and read photo books. The works of 2-3 authors with detailed descriptions are transmitted to the projectors. Music was written especially for this exhibition — it is disturbing, catchy and creates an amazing mood. It was with great pleasure that we immersed ourselves in the stories of people, countries and eras. Thanks to the museum team for such an important and deep project! —————— Highly recommend Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum We visited the museum on a weekday during the Magnum Agency exhibition. Entry is free and the museum is open on weekdays until 7 PM. The atmosphere inside is very special: all the windows are covered, there are low tables with lamps in the middle of the hall, and you can sit on cushions and flip through photo books. Projectors display works by 2–3 different authors along with detailed descriptions. Special music was composed just for this exhibition — it’s haunting and very atmospheric, creating an immersive mood. We really enjoyed diving into the stories of people, different countries, and eras. Big thanks to the museum team for such an important and thoughtful project!

Twice in August, I tried to visit the gallery during working days/business hours, but it was closed. The reception at Stamba explained that the gallery is closed for the holidays until September 1. There is no information about the vacation on the gallery doors, only the schedule. It would be nice to put up such an announcement for the guests. And the exhibitions here are wonderful.
