On our way to Tbilisi, we stopped for lunch: khinkali, khachapuri, compote, and wine. We really liked everything. We also bought some homemade cheese. Everything is homemade by very hospitable hosts and the views are gorgeous. We liked it so much that we stopped by on the way back. They took it apart and ate it in Khinkali so quickly that I only remembered about the photo afterward. Khinkali is sooo delicious. We recommend visiting here!

Excellent! Very tasty! Beautiful views! We stopped for lunch at this cafe, guided by the reviews, and did not regret it! We have never eaten so tasty and inexpensive before, and we are still those who like to go to different establishments and know the taste of good cuisine. Even our child, who never eats khachapuri, ate two large pieces. Special thanks for the hospitality of the hosts, we were very pleasantly welcomed and treated to wine.

We were driving from the border and we wanted to plunge into the local flavor and have a snack as soon as possible. We stopped by the reviews and didn't regret it. Khinkali is very tasty, they make it in front of you, the compote is just incredible, we refused at first, but the hostess brought it to us as a gift to treat. We liked it so much that we decided to buy it to our friends as a souvenir and treat them too. Everyone speaks and understands Russian, and is treated with care and warmth. On the way back, we will definitely stop by for hinkali and compote.

The most delicious khinkali near the Zhinvali reservoir! The most hospitable hosts. Khinkali is harvested and brewed right in front of you. Very tasty home cooking. They work from 10:00 until the last customer (2:00-3:00 at night). Highly recommend it!

An amazing lunch with a beautiful view and hospitable hosts. The three of them had 70 lari: 15 homemade fresh khinkali, a large salad, 2 homemade sauces, and 2 0.5 lemonades. The food is incredibly delicious. The hosts are warm-hearted and nice people who are endearing to themselves. I advise everyone who is traveling on the way to stop here.

Wonderful place, wonderful people! We stayed overnight, the room is very clean, all the amenities are in the room. I would especially like to mention the kind hosts - an incredible married couple who cook their own food from homemade products! Everything is very very tasty! Thank you so much for such a warm welcome! We were given a jar of jam :) The view of the reservoir and the mountains is gorgeous! I also really liked the design of flowers and greenery on the territory! Thanks a lot to the hosts! I recommend it to anyone who is interested!

We were looking for an overnight stay at an acceptable price on the way, so we decided to stay here. Very friendly and welcoming host. Despite the fact that we did not order food from them, we were treated to delicious homemade wine and compote, and were allowed to have dinner and breakfast at their tables in an outdoor cafe overlooking the reservoir and mountains! The rooms are cozy and clean. One of the disadvantages is weak noise insulation, because near the highway, the sounds of passing cars were very audible, but combined with the price, this is in principle a good option.

A beautiful, cozy and delicious cafe All dishes are made with homemade products.The portions are large and very tasty! We ordered Shkmeruli, beef khinkali (not comparable in taste to restaurant dishes in Tbilisi) and a huge Imeretian khachapuri, which we couldn't handle together.😅 There was also a delicious raspberry compote (they even took a rolled-up 1L jar with them😅) The owners are very friendly and open-minded people! The hostess even shared the sprouts of flowers🙌🏼

A super place!We stopped by on the way to Tbilisi. I chose a place based on reviews and for good reason, we were very satisfied and well-fed. The view is wonderful. The establishment is run by a very nice couple and their dog Pico. The khinkali arrived in about 15 minutes, very tasty and large, and 5-7 minutes later, a huge khachapuri and eggplant with nuts. Everything is very tasty. Homemade morse is a delight. We recommend❤

We were returning from Georgia and decided to have a snack before crossing the border. According to the reviews, we chose this cafe with a beautiful view of the lake and excellent cuisine according to reviews. It doesn't look like a restaurant, but we trusted the reviews. We were simply amazed by the quality and delicious homemade food. The owners themselves meet. They cook themselves. The guys are working for the result. I've been eating khinkali all my vacation: Shekviteli, Kobuleti, Batumi. They turned out to be the most delicious and juicy here. Also a barbecue. The most delicious and natural turned out to be here Raspberry compote. It's just a piece of art. In general, all the famous restaurateurs of Kobuleti and Batumi were left behind after this cuisine. We finished our vacation in Georgia with the most delicious homemade Georgian lunch.

Fall for the rave reviews. I wouldn't say it was very tasty here: the breadcrumbs were drowning in butter; the potatoes were also dripping with oil and falling apart; the dough for the hinkali was falling apart, so it was impossible to bite into them and drink the broth - it flowed either onto my hand or onto a plate; the salad was too salty. From tasty - shorty. Prices are healthy, at the level of Tbilisi establishments. I'll add at the end that for me, eating is a ritual that I look forward to all day and that gives me pleasure, and after today's meal, I was left very upset. For me, food is not just about eating and forgetting, I am very sensitive to this. The only thing that pleases is the pleasant hosts, they are kind and polite. I'm sorry to write such criticism, but that's my opinion.

The cafe is called SHIM-SHEMO. We stopped at this magical place for the first time on our way to Adjara, and we liked the cuisine and the wonderful, intelligent hosts, who are very hospitable and can cook delicious food. On the way back to Moscow, we stopped for two days and walked around the reservoir, visited the old fortress and the temple. The cafe is located on a mountain above the reservoir and while sitting over a glass of wine you can enjoy the views of the mountains that rise above the water.
