The most beautiful restaurant I've been to in Almaty! The Kazakh-only dishes were the most savory I've had in the three months I've been in Kazakhstan. The fine art and traditional decor made the atmosphere feel elegant, yet welcoming. Excellent wait service and decently priced menu.

Date of visit 05/03/26. Excellent restaurant of national cuisine. All the staff are in stylized costumes, carpets everywhere, authentic chandeliers, etc. This is a museum restaurant, many antique household items and clothes were used in the interior. There are separate guided tours of the restaurant milking visitors. In the evenings, singers and musicians perform. The repertoire is also national. Everything looks very impressive. The second floor is more comfortable, you look at all the beauty from above, there are no people, there is no fuss. Also on the second floor there are separate rooms with comfortable beds, pillows, you can lie down, relax in a private setting. We ordered smoked bacon - a beautiful serving on tiny tortillas, very tasty! Smoked horse meat in cream sauce is very tender and delicious! We also ordered a roast on a stone with a show program from the chef! It's very cool: the chef roasts meat on a stone in front of you, the girl accompanies it with a story about the history of the dish! It looks impressive, but it's also delicious, of course. We also took fresh vegetables with kurt sauce, koumiss and shubat. I definitely recommend this place to those who want to try the national Kazakh cuisine and not smell like food, as is often the case in national Asian establishments. The price tag here is above average, but it's worth it! Thanks a lot to Bekarus, who served us, everything was great!

We were at the weekend. An interesting place with a beautiful entrance, interior and decoration. There was live music and a singer with a good voice sang really well. And now for that three stars. We had no luck with the waiter. He was constantly doing something, either cleaning the tablecloths or going somewhere, which is why he brought our hot dishes already cold. He brought a pot of tea, but for some reason did not bring mugs, assuring that the tea should be brewed for a couple of minutes. As a result, I had to remind them about the mugs after 10 minutes. The broth was cold for lunch, and my son and I ate warm hot dishes. Everything would be fine, but the restaurant charges 15% for the service. In general, you can go once, but I wouldn't go again.

Everything is thought out with love for Kazakhstan and the guests. The food is on the level, the service is on the level, the service is on the level. The restaurant itself is a museum and there is a free guide in Russian and English. Beauty is in the details, the atmosphere, the attention. I highly recommend it. The price tag is higher than in other restaurants, but everything is justified. Special thanks to Alikhan for the tour. He was able to convey his love for his history and culture.

It's a wonderful place, the best I've been to in Almaty. Maybe there is a fusion of traditional Kazakh and modern restaurant cuisine, but it's great. The interior and atmosphere are amazing. The waiters are very kind, open and friendly. The cuisine is incredible. We tried beshbarmak, lamb's heart, smoked horsemeat soup and smoked horse meat, washed down with smoked koumiss and fur coat. In the end, we also ate 3 wonderful desserts. Everything is excellent and thanks to the waiters.
