Delight! An excellent seafood restaurant with a soul and amazing service Yesterday we discovered the Palmiye restaurant (they have been operating since 1986) — and this is an impeccable 10 out of 10! Location and reception: Convenient location. Special respect to the owner of the restaurant: he personally greets the guests, speaks excellent Russian — it's incredibly pleasant and sets the right tone for the whole evening. Choice and freshness: Outside there is a luxurious showcase with the freshest seafood on an ice pillow. Sea bass, dorado, smelt, shrimp, octopus and other reptiles. You choose the fish you like, and they cook it for you right away! Speed and service: Snacks and starters were ordered in a pleasant atmosphere and with good music. It arrived exactly 3 minutes later — we are just shocked by this speed! The smelt was served in 10 minutes, the sea bass in just 20. Cuisine: Everything is incredibly delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. Bottom line: An amazing place with traditions and soul. I definitely recommend it, and I'll be happy to come back here more than once!

We accidentally wandered into this place with a friend to drink beer after shopping. We were ultra-exclusive and we didn't want to eat. But we talked to the owner, and he said a funny phrase that stuck in my head, "The hotel cooks for everyone, but the restaurant cooks for you." I had to go back and try the fish. I'm not a fan of fish, but it turned out that I just didn't eat delicious) Ali himself greets and accompanies each guest. Sometimes he accepts orders and is always ready to create a special mood for you. The restaurant is his brainchild, and you can feel it. He's just a Turkish Ted Lasso 😄 Come and see for yourself. P.S. I've read bad reviews here, but it feels like people have been to other establishments. The restaurant is one-story, and it doesn't smell like a third floor), there are no additional fees, and the prices are the same as in other places on the coast. It's just delicious and warm here, and you'll want to take that memory with you.

The restaurant is on the first line by the sea. That says almost everything. We ordered seafood: dorado less than a kilogram, 4 king prawns, grilled octopus tentacles. Everything was cooked very tasty and simple without frills. But the prices are off the charts. We had dinner for two with a bottle of Sarafin Rose for almost 30,000 rubles!!! For that kind of money, you can have dinner in famous restaurants with original cuisine in Moscow. And, for example, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in July of this year, in the most expensive seafood restaurant with a bottle of Italian white wine, we had dinner almost 3 times cheaper. But every dish there was author's, very original, for example, crema catalano with scallop meat (to understand the different approach to cooking and pricing for them). Incl. the choice is yours, do not take seriously the reviews where people write that prices in this restaurant are the same as everywhere else in Bodrum. There are restaurants in Bodrum where you will be served the same delicious dishes of traditional Turkish cuisine, but they will cost much less than in restaurants on the shore.

It's a great restaurant. The main advantage is, of course, the quality of fish and seafood. The fish is the freshest, there is both local Turkish and imported from France (not every day). But what makes this place really special is the people. The waiters, the manager and the owner are very sincere and pleasant, the service is simply enveloping in warmth. Unfortunately, the impression of the restaurant was completely ruined during the calculation. A smiling man with a mustache greeted us very kindly at the entrance. We wanted to order a seafood platter, we specified the weight and cost. The man said that the weight is about 1 kg and the cost is 5,490 lire, but for us it will cost 5,000 lire, separately specifying that there will also be salad and salad included in this price. The price for the dish is not small, but we decided to have a delicious and good meal. As a result, there was no plateau in the bill: each type of seafood was served separately on the menu, and the salad was also added in a separate line. When we pointed out what we had agreed upon when ordering, disputes began and claims began that no one had told us such a thing. The most unpleasant thing is that the quality of the food does not justify such a bill at all. Most of the seafood was breaded and literally drowned in oil. For that kind of money, you'd expect a completely different level of cooking and serving. What was really delicious was the octopus, the salad was also made from fresh vegetables. As a result, there was a feeling that the price that was announced to us before the order and the amount that was actually charged were two different things. For 6710 lire, this dinner was totally not worth it. As a result, after the showdown, the salad was removed from the receipt and we continued to argue that no one had named the price of 5,000 lire. I don't want to go back, and I can't recommend a place. For this money, you can have dinner in a more pleasant place, with fair prices and dishes without a ton of butter.

Excellent seafood, beautiful view, reasonable prices! We had dinner with the whole family. For an appetizer, we ordered fresh and delicious oysters, followed by grilled octopus and grilled sea bass. Everything was very tasty, especially the octopus: tender and well pickled. The view of the fortress and the sea made the evening even more pleasant. Prices are much more affordable compared to restaurants like Sakhalin in Yalikavak, and the quality is excellent. The atmosphere is more local and cozy, no frills, but tasteful. We are very satisfied and recommend it!

I don't understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars. The best restaurant in the whole of Bodrum and the surrounding area. We've been almost everywhere from Novikov to MADO, but we've left our hearts here! Incredibly delicious and varied cuisine, fresh seafood, courteous staff, there is a menu in Russian, they do not ask for tips, decent prices and quick service, you can not think of a better one! If they had found out about the place earlier, they would have gone every day!

A great place within walking distance from the center and the Fortress of St. Peter. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's approach to service. Prices are higher than in Turkey as a whole. In almost two weeks of traveling in Turkey, this is one of the most unremarkable and expensive meals. It's not that bad at all. No, it's fine. No more. Portions are smaller than in Turkey as a whole. My wife was served fried fish with one onion slice, it's a side dish, it's an ornament. Bodrum kebab for 1400 per lira - deep-fried potatoes on a grater, filled with white sauce, a little fried beef on top. In short, sadness and longing, to be honest. I strongly do not recommend it.
