We found this place by chance when we went on a field trip, chatted with an employee and promised to return in the evening. As a result, it became our favorite place, which we returned to like home! Delicious dishes, huge portions, reasonable prices for a tourist center, but the most important thing is the people who work in this place! Each employee treats this place like their home, sincerely worries about each guest, tries to make the dinner perfect! We were always treated to snacks, tea, desserts, it was very pleasant. Special greetings and thanks to Alper, he won us over with his charisma, knowledge of languages and care!

We came to the cafe based on reviews on the Internet, as a result, it became the only one where everything was delicious to us, for which we are ready to forgive the not-so-pretty atmosphere :) the team is trying very hard, helpful waiters, fast service. Excellent low-fat steaks, consider roasting, delicious snacks, pastas, sesame cheese. They offer 3 types of snacks as a compliment, lavash, baklava after dinner (although on one visit they promised us snacks with a compliment, but they never brought them, on another they forgot about baklava, but after the reminder they brought it right away). Prices are the same as everywhere else in the area.

Very tasty. Very large portions. The staff of this family-run cafe is extremely friendly but unobtrusive. The chef is great and knows many secrets of salad, meat and sauces. We went to this cafe three times and it was always delicious. Thank you to the younger one for being so sincerely worried that we didn't go into his establishment, which aroused both sympathy and curiosity. The contingent of visitors represented an international handful of regular customers, which, taking into account the number of competitors, already speaks to why this cafe has been operating since the 19th century. I would have come to Istanbul to come here.

The most important thing is that there is an absolutely honest calculation, no hidden margins or fraud with a check, which, unfortunately, you often encounter in other establishments in Istanbul. I walked tired and cold. I succumbed to the charm of the young Turk and we went to dinner at Divella. They brought us a compliment- hot lavash and olive sauce. While waiting for the main course, an Uber minivan taxi pulled up and a group of Italians poured out of it. It was obvious from their greeting that this wasn't their first time here. We got a waiter who teaches Russian. That's why I asked you to communicate in Russian. But he told me how to say "please" in Turkish. We ordered a traditional kebab and a chicken kebab. The barbecue is great. Served with pilaf, lettuce and baked tomatoes. I got warm, I ate, I would come back again - yes. I recommend you to visit.

When the card was not read, the manager said something irritably and waved his hands. We spent 2 hours on lunch, because at first we messed up the order, then we carried the dishes for a long time (first one waiter had lunch, then the second one noticed it, brought our dishes and sat down to lunch himself, it was strange). The second point is, they said right at the entrance that Union Pay is working, a lot of people come in with her, as a result, it turned out that they were also confused. It's good that I've got the right amount in cash. Overall, the place is not bad, but since the prices are not affordable, it was expected to be a little different. Immediately at the entrance, I liked that the restaurant is not intrusively invited, as it happens in other establishments located nearby, but if you decide to go in, you are immediately greeted as a dear guest. The menu is large, there are Turkish dishes, old Ottoman and European classics, and Italian homemade pasta. The prices are average for similar establishments. The service is very fast and pleasant, but the most important thing is the food itself. Everything was sooo delicious. We ordered lentil soup, which was accompanied by homemade hot bread, homemade delicious hummus and olive paste. We also ordered a Greek salad, very spicy, with unusual spices, homemade pasta with vegetables and a traditional Ottoman dish- lamb with eggplant, everything is very fresh, delicious, in general, we have not eaten so much for a long time that all the dishes were just perfect. For dessert, Turkish coffee and baklava melting in your mouth, who has enough room for dessert, I highly recommend trying it) At the end of the dinner, they bring a compliment from the restaurant. There is a menu in English and Russian, there are no problems with cashless payment. In general, I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Istanbul)
