Republic Square (formerly Lenin Square) in Yerevan, designed by Alexander Tamanyan, is one of the main architectural gems of the city. The ensemble of the square includes five buildings lined with different shades of tuff, which looks very interesting in different lighting conditions. The construction of the square began in 1926. After the reconstruction at the beginning of the XXI century, it was supplemented by a light and music fountain. However, I still did not understand when the fountain works, it happens during the day, it happens in the evening, but it seems not every evening.
