The food was great and tasty. However, the blonde lady at the reception completely ruined our experience. She seemed unhappy to see us, threw the menu on the table, and behaved as if we were in the worst restaurant in Vienna. Her impolite attitude made the experience unpleasant and left us feeling unwelcome. Because of this, we would not recommend this restaurant. There are many other places in Vienna where the food is just as good, and you will be treated with proper courtesy and respect.

Plachutta is a legendary Austrian restaurant, inside there is a "plaque of honor" with famous people who have visited this institution on the walls near the stairs. The list is impressive:) A huge plus is that there is a summer terrace, and you can dine outdoors. The service was at a high level, the waiters were great, they managed to take the time and even put portions on plates, despite the full board. We didn't book a table in advance, but it's worth doing. We came spontaneously and had to wait at the bar for about 10 minutes. I recommend taking their traditional soup of 3 types of meat: an amazing dish. Rich beef broth with vegetables and potatoes and the most tender, disintegrating meat: bones, tongue and tenderloin. The striploin steak was cooked well, but it tasted unenthusiastic, much inferior to the soup. They also serve a complement in the form of the freshest muffins and butter with salt. It's incredibly delicious. This is probably one of the most delicious bread/buttered rolls I've ever tasted in my life. I recommend it 100% and you should definitely come here if you are in Vienna.

A restaurant with a history! Recommended by the guide. We didn't book a table in advance, but there was a table for us. I really enjoyed the classic dinner! They left well-fed and satisfied!
