We originally went to the popular Pasanauli, but decided to stop here. It was the right choice. The food is delicious, the khinkali is amazing. The staff is friendly, they cook quickly. We came in hungry with the kids and ordered two cold appetizers, lobiani and two hot ones. We tasted everything with pleasure and everyone was full and satisfied. The snacks were traditional - with garlic and walnuts, and I want to note that the garlic was in moderation. My son even found his favorite Siberian dumplings on the menu. They were served in a pot, sealed with a thin cake on top - everything was delicious and spectacular. In the end, we learned about the history of the artist, after whom the institution is named. Very pleasant impressions about the place.

Great place, very polite staff. Everything is delicious, the dishes are served quickly too, you didn't have to wait as in some places, when one had already eaten, and the second dish had just been brought. Everything is clear here, despite the fact that there was no light for most of our lunch, we were fed and served at the highest level. We took homemade wine, chacha, kharcho, spicy, trout. Everything is delicious! I recommend it, I want to come back again. There's live music on weekends, but we didn't get in, we were ahead of time.

The best cuisine in Tbilisi!! Excellent kharcho, perfectly cooked trout in pomegranate sauce, excellent mushroom soup!!! Kebabs are beyond praise!!! Live music is always played in the evening, and Georgian folk dances on weekends. The staff does everything to make the guests feel comfortable. It's clean and cozy. I recommend the place, we ate here several times during our stay in Tbilisi.

An extremely unpleasant place. The restaurant is in the basement, damp and cold. There were no people at all, apart from us, literally one table was occupied. We asked the waiter to move because it was cold. We chose a cozy table. Another waiter came up (the same bald Nico from other reviews) and said that we could not occupy this table, since it was designed for 6 people, and there were only two of us. Let me remind you that the huge restaurant was completely empty. We're gone. I don't recommend it. It doesn't matter what language you speak (we spoke in English).

We went with our family to celebrate the DR on the advice of the guide and none of us liked it. Veal ribs (pictured) just don't chew on the sole and are very sharp, chicken wings (some 4 wings per serving, I haven't seen this for a long time) had to peel hard meat from the bones with my teeth. It was necessary to cook the wings like this (( Khinkali is also very sharp and rubbery, I liked their signature salad, but the portion is tiny, the fish salad is sour, not tasty. The daughter did not eat the dumplings in the pot either, several dumplings were floating in the curdled sour cream. Adjarian khachapuri is the only good dish from our entire menu. The mood at the DR is spoiled, no one in the restaurant congratulated, although they knew. They promised a show at 21:00, and at 21:30 we left without waiting for him. We traveled all over Georgia by car, ate every day in restaurants, this was the worst of all on our way.

Large portions, they cook pretty quickly, a friendly man who invites you to a restaurant. We went early enough for dinner, it was quiet, we wanted some kind of lively atmosphere. We didn't get any live music, we were there a couple of times. European music is playing on TV in the hall, and there are tables outside. We really liked the eggplant with nuts - they are so delicious we have never tasted anywhere else! The pork shish kebab was over-salted, the chicken shish kebab is ok, ajapsandal is delicious, satsivi is just probably not our dish.
