Wonderful place with extremely valuable artifacts mostly made in Belarus. A glance on the historical evolution of Belarusian esthetic and taste. Must visit the corpus and its stable collection, but you can find very interesting temporary exhibitions.

I really liked the museum! A modern building with spacious, bright halls, and of course a collection!!!! Impressive!!!!! Especially the artists! I saw so many masterpieces in one visit!!! Here are represented: Repin, Aivazovsky, Shishkin, Serov, Kuindzhi, Makovsky and many others. Some porcelain, some glass, some themed halls. Interestingly, some of the paintings have jars of perfumes! Such an interesting solution to feel the picture through the smell ... I liked it) I really enjoyed my visit!!! I will still be in Minsk - I will definitely come here again to meet with the beautiful!!!

Well, how can you miss this gorgeous museum in Minsk! Especially in cold and rainy weather, where there is beauty, warmth and inspiration! We were very impressed with the museum's very good collection, we walked through the halls with great pleasure, saw wonderful paintings and more. Firstly, the building itself is very beautiful, worthy of a national museum. In the hall of Belarusian painting, we got acquainted with the Radziwills and saw Polish gentlemen) in general, we are super, and we are sophisticated museums) be sure to visit if you are in Minsk

The experience of visiting the museum is amazing! For the first time I saw samples of ancient icons and wooden sculptures of Western Slavs. The museum's collection is diverse and unique, including masterpieces by Russian artists and masters of the Northern Renaissance, African tribes and Pablo Picasso. There are also temporary exhibitions. It is unlikely to be possible to inspect everything in one day. I recommend coming here more often.

I really liked the museum, beautiful paintings, famous artists. The main exhibition has 5 halls, as well as additional halls with Chinese porcelain, icons, Belarusian art of the 19th and 20th centuries, Russian art of the 18th and 20th centuries, European art of the 16th and 20th centuries, as well as the "Exhibition of one masterpiece "The Marc Chagall Walk". The cost is 15 bel.rub for adults and 8 bel.rub for children. There are 2 more expositions available in the exhibition hall for an additional fee.: "Harmony of the light of the non-loving weavers" and "Boris Arakcheev. On the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth." Payment is 10 bel.rub. adults, students / schoolchildren 5 bel.rub. And plus on the ground floor there is an exhibition "Two centuries of fashion in Art", the price is 25 bel. In general, everything is interesting enough, the museum is large, I advise you to visit.

The museum is located in the very center of Minsk, on Lenin Street. Four floors with halls, where more than 37 thousand works are collected — from ancient icons to modern paintings. What pleased and surprised me was the richness of the collection. Here you can see the works of Polenov, Kustodiev, Bryullov, Levitan, Shishkin, Aivazovsky and the famous painting "Unequal Marriage", familiar to many from school. I especially remember the moment when, during an inspection of the exposition, we accidentally met the famous actor Jan Tsapnik. It was gratifying to see that a famous person came here not for the hype, but to absorb art in silence — just for the soul, for culture. I definitely recommend a mandatory visit!

The main artistic treasure of the country, which was severely damaged during the Second World War. The collection features Belarusian and Russian art. The permanent exhibition features works by Repin, Vrubel, Aivazovsky, and Levitan. Among the absolute gems are ancient icons, portraits by Khrutsky and "Winter Dream" by Byalynitsky—Biruli. There is also an excellent collection of Western European art: there are paintings by Italian, Dutch and Flemish masters, as well as works by Pablo Picasso. It is important that the museum often hosts interesting temporary exhibitions. For example, in March there was an exhibition Slutsk belts. Reconstruction is underway, which will significantly increase the number of paintings shown. Definitely recommended to visit.

I am delighted with the museum, but it is very inconvenient that there is only one ticket window.:There's a huge queue at the weekend! The position is interesting:Vrubel, Serebryakova, Shishkin, Bogaevsky, and that's not all.:there are temporary exhibitions. I would like to mention separately the exhibition "200 years of fashion" from the private collection of Tatiana Fedosova (she held the exhibition just)👌🤩

I visited him for the first time. A wonderful museum! The architecture of the building itself. High-level content, paintings, sculptures. The exhibition of one painting by Chagall is decently decorated. The costume exhibition is interesting and very beautiful. Dresses, shoes, jewelry, perfumes.. it can be considered for a long time. The color of the walls and the paintings again.. A huge number of paintings and sculptures by our classics. I saw sculptures by Konenkov and Vrubel. I will not list our classics. There are many other interesting and soul-touching works. You need to visit the museum not once or twice, but make it a rule to visit it at least once a month if you have the opportunity!

What can I say? A great museum! There are many paintings by Belarusian artists in different periods for the country. Marc Chagall's original painting A Walk is now on display for the pampered public, but there is something to see without it. I advise you not to compare it with the Hermitage or the Russian Museum, you will upset yourself. But this does not mean that it is not worth visiting at all: it is very much worth it. The staff were very kind and interested, and we talked to two charming Ladies, who advised us on what to look for. To summarize: it is mandatory to watch.

Delight! Starting from the staff and ending with the exposition itself. I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of works by blind artists. The lovely female employees of the museum are incredibly polite and good-natured. The museum's collection is simply huge, we spent several hours and this is just the main building! You can endlessly look at paintings and sculptures. There are also comfortable places to sit in the halls. Definitely 10 out of 10 and we will advise everyone to visit such a beautiful museum.

The museum houses the world's largest collection of works of Belarusian art. Today, the number of works in all collections and collections is 37,000 pieces from more than 132 countries and about 12 centuries of human history. The National Art Museum is the largest stock and exhibition repository of art objects in the country. It has several branches. There are two cash registers at the entrance on the left and on the right. The cloakroom, storage rooms and restrooms are located in the basement.

a wonderful collection of works of art, very convenient zoning by floors and halls. The building itself, inside and out, is a delight! the staff is helpful and courteous. the only thing I would like is more souvenirs related to the masterpieces presented in the gallery, as there is a selection of postcards (and other things) very small :( and it would be great to buy something to remember this wonderful place by!

I am an art history teacher and I was very pleased to visit the museum. The price is very reasonable and there is a very good art collection, lectures are held in the museum, and overall the building is very good in architecture. I liked the modern exhibitions in the museum, as well as the gradual exposition filled with good works by great masters.

I liked the museum. A beautiful building and interior, a worthy collection of works by famous artists. I'm not a big fan of modern painting, but there were really interesting works here. On the downside: we took an audio guide, but it was for a very limited number of paintings and, in principle, was not useful.

A magnificent museum. I haven't been so excited in a long time. And even my daughter from St. Petersburg said that it was a sooooo worthy exhibit. Special thanks to the staff, the caretakers, they explain everything and help. It is very interesting to take a guided tour. We listened to it out of the corner of our ear and regretted that we didn't take it. I would like to mention the placement of the paintings separately. Everything is planned to flow from one to the other. You walk through all the halls with a sense of the continuity of the artistic narrative.

When we were in Minsk, we saw banners that Marc Chagall's "Walk" was on display at the National Art Museum. And on the last day before we left, we still managed to go to the museum. At first, we traveled through the main exhibition for a long time and with interest, being inspired by ancient paintings and sculptures. And then... the exposition ended. It turned out that Chagall was on display in a separate room behind glass doors, and we just walked by. We walked through the halls again to the cherished place — it was an exhibition of one masterpiece and six more small sketches for it. The Walk was created in 1917 and is part of a cycle dedicated to the love of Chagall and his wife Bella Rosenfeld. On the canvas, the artist depicted himself and Bella — he stands firmly on the ground, and she soars in the sky, as Chagall visualized the "flight of feelings." The painting was painted in a difficult historical period, against the background of revolutionary events, but at the same time it is very bright and joyful. By the way, "Walk" is the second part of the triptych. Other paintings in the cycle ("Double Portrait" and "Over the City") are kept in other museums, so there was no chance to see them together in Minsk.

It's a good art museum. The main collection is moderate and balanced. I really liked Shishkin, I have never seen such a thing in Russian museums. They bring Chagall and other famous authors. There is an audio guide, no frills, but it will tell you about the main thing. The only thing that bothers me is that for every sneeze, literally, there's a ticket - the main exhibit has its own ticket, the additional exhibitions have their own ticket, and you won't immediately understand where you want to go and where you don't. But it's only difficult for tourists, it's probably good for the townspeople.

I am in awe of the museum's rich collection! The main entrance is closed for repairs. The entrance to the museum is from Karl Marx Street, 24. A ticket costs 20 rubles for all exhibitions. You will enter the main building through a covered passage. Two floors of works of foreign and Belarusian art. Gorgeous interiors. Impressive work. Paintings about the war cause goosebumps, hysterical interest - portraits of notable representatives of the Radziwill family, nostalgia, and the socialist realism of Ivan Fetisov. The works of blind artists aroused special attention. The inspection of the two floors took about two hours. It was first encountered in a museum - smells are associations with paintings. There are sofas and banquettes for relaxation, an elevator, a cafe and a shop. The toilet is in the basement.

It's a wonderful place. An excellent museum, where many masterpieces of classical Russian and modern Belarusian artists are collected. There are Shishkin, Kuindzhi, Korovin, Repin, Savrasov, Vasnetsov and many others. A separate exhibition is dedicated to works of art and paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries returned from Nazi Germany. The museum is open until 21:00 on Thursdays.

Incredibly beautiful architecture inside: marble stairs, white columns, arches. Air and space. Judging by the fact that 4 wedding couples were with us at the photo shoot, we can conclude that the place is as aesthetic and favorite as possible for photo shoots. Do you love museums as much as I do? Then you're definitely here. First of all, the building itself is impressive-massive, with a portico, everything is classic))) On the ground floor we visited the exhibition of the 20th century Belarusian artist M. Sevruk. I would like to mention high-quality text explanations that help to understand the artist's work and put it into context. On the 2nd floor in the foyer there are national costumes and works by contemporary artists, and then there is the collection itself. To understand where the "Unequal Marriage" and "Overseas guests" come from, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the history of the museum and especially with what it had to go through during the war. The returned exhibits are marked with stars (among them are portraits of 20 Radziwills and other historical characters). In general, the museum makes a very positive impression. I recommend it to everyone!
