From U-bhan station (marked by the museum), you can take a shortcut, which differs from the route shown on the map and is faster. Visit the museum located in the old Stasi headquarters.The museum provides a detailed overview of its history, eavesdropping tools, and decorations from that time. There are fewer interactive displays that are suitable for static visits, but the rich storefronts are worth a visit. There is a coffee shop adjacent to the building, which can be visited in the old Stasi conference hall.There is a souvenir shop next to the hotel where you can buy souvenirs about the Stasi and even music CDs from East Germany. The only drawback is that it is more stuffy in the exhibition hall without an external window.
