We visited the Madame Tussauds Museum in Berlin and were impressed — this is not just an exhibition of wax figures, but a full-fledged interactive attraction. Positive: Realistic shapes. Wax replicas of celebrities, politicians and historical figures are made with amazing detail: facial expressions, skin texture, hair are worked out — in some places it is difficult to distinguish from a living person. I especially remember the figures of Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein and Angela Merkel. Interactive zones. There are many themed scenes in the museum where you can become part of the frame: for example, "fly" like in Dirty Dancing, sit next to Forrest Gump or stand on the red carpet next to Hollywood stars. This makes the visit exciting for both adults and children. A thematic selection for the location. The Berlin branch has halls dedicated specifically to German history and culture: you can meet the figures of Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, Oliver Kahn and other iconic figures for Germany. This adds a local flavor to the museum. Convenient location. The museum is located in the very center, on Unter den Linden, a stone's throw from the Brandenburg Gate - it is easy to include in any walking route around the city. Unlimited photos. You can take pictures with almost all the figures, and in some areas they even offer props (wigs, costumes) to make the picture as atmospheric as possible. Minuses: High ticket prices. The price is significantly higher than that of many other city museums, especially if you go with your family. However, you can save a little money when buying online. Queues during peak hours. It can be very crowded on weekends and during the season, which means you have to wait a long time to take photos in popular areas. It is better to come to the opening or choose weekdays. Restrictions on photos. It is forbidden to take pictures with the figure of Adolf Hitler — this is the only but strict rule of the museum. This may come as a surprise to some visitors. Subjective point: not all personalities are familiar. There are many German and international celebrities in the exhibition, but some of them may be unknown to a wide audience — because of this, individual halls are perceived as less interesting. In general, the museum is worth a visit, at least for the sake of the atmosphere and unusual photos. This is a great option for entertaining on a rainy day or as part of a family program in Berlin.

We visited Madame Tussauds in Berlin for the first time and were not disappointed. There weren't many people, the staff was friendly. Lots of clothes for different locations that can be worn for photos.

A good museum. The exposition is constantly changing. This means the figures of famous, public people are added. There are some that have been standing for more than one year. When you walk through the entire area of the museum, you go down to the store at the museum. Everything is always very expensive in it. I advise you to buy souvenirs in other shops in Berlin. They all repeat themselves. As soon as you enter the museum, there is a car. And cute consultants offer to take a picture in it. It's too expensive, be careful. You will find out the price already at the exit, where your photo will be printed. This is an additional cost. I recommend the museum as interesting rooms for filming with friends as a keepsake.
