The museum is located in the very center of Tbilisi, not far from Freedom Square. The museum houses about 140,000 works of art — Georgian, Oriental, Russian and European. Exhibits of the LV–VII centuries, a collection of paintings by masters representing the Georgian school of fine arts are presented. A special place is occupied by the collection of works by Niko Pirosmani. We got a huge aesthetic pleasure. And despite the rather high cost of the entrance ticket (40lari), I recommend visiting this museum!

It's a large, bright room, and Georgian art is for the amateur. It is located in the center of Tbilisi, and the glass elevator and stairs make a special impression.

A wonderful museum, many interesting and diverse works, you can study for hours, three floors. The price for January 14 is 40 GEL per person. I also want to mention the unusual benches in the halls.

40 GEL per person. Mostly Georgian paintings, a lot of nouneymes. The number of exhibits is modest. They write on the Internet that there are works by Repin, Aivazovsky and others, but in reality there is nothing like that. Anti-Russian videos are being played next to the paintings - why is this in an art museum?

It's a wonderful museum, small but interesting. Here you can learn a lot about the life and work of the Georgian writer. The atmosphere is cozy, there are many historical details that immerse you in the era.

We arrived at 17:27, but a not very polite employee informed us that the museum was already closed. Although it says everywhere in the guidebooks that they are allowed in until 17:30, and the museum itself closes at 18:00.

I came here to see more paintings by Pirosmani, which were not in the national gallery. The price tag is big, but the canvases are beautiful

The museum is closed for repairs on 12/30/2013. Since there are no ads anywhere, I wasted my time 😠
