Finally, we have found a place where you can eat really delicious meat, lamb: ribs, lula kebab, shish kebab! Also, very tasty pilaf with soft beef, manti, ayran, samsa - you can lick your fingers! The service is friendly and fast without the usual jokes in Georgia. Turkmen cuisine, a different mentality, approach, people try their best. That's why we started going regularly.

The food is delicious, but the portions are small. If a Georgian kebab costs 18-20 lari, we take one for 2 because it's huge, then here for 12 lari, but we can't eat enough together. Mutton pistols for 17 lari are 3 small pieces. Manti 1 piece-3 lari, minced meat filling is delicious, but khinkali in the range of 1.9 - 2.5 lari per piece will really be 2 times more. And be careful with the tips, our bill was for 80 lari, my husband handed me a 100 lari bill and told the waitress that 10 lari change was enough, but she quickly stopped understanding Russian and did not bring the change. We didn't make a fuss, but we came away with certain conclusions.

Cafe "Merv" is a real find for fans of Turkmen cuisine in Tbilisi! Incredibly delicious samsa is prepared here with a juicy filling that melts in your mouth. Fetches are pleasantly pleasing with their rich taste and aroma, and pilaf is a separate story: it is crumbly, with a rich bouquet of spices and tender meat. Chebureks also do not disappoint — they are crispy and juicy, they perfectly complement lunch. The interior of the cafe is cozy and pleasant, the service is courteous and fast. They found out about this institution by accident and on a recommendation. And I'm very glad that I managed to come here. It is delicious, inexpensive and you can try dishes that are not so often found on the menu of Tbilisi establishments. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the meals are served very quickly. Manti are juicy, chebureks are crispy. We will definitely come back here again to try the rest of the dishes from the menu! :)
