Our vacation in Gagra was just great, and thanks in large part to the Mega Hotel! We lived in a standard room from June 30 to July 1, 2026 - everything was on the level: the air conditioner saved from the heat, the TV was working, the shower and toilet in the room, the cleanliness was perfect. They also gave me two towels each - it's a small thing, but it's nice. Many thanks to the administrator Natalia: you could contact her with any question, and she always solved everything quickly. The beach is 5 minutes away at a leisurely pace, next to the Ferris wheel and a bunch of cafes where you can have a snack. In general, if you are looking for a good hotel in Gagra, I advise you to take a closer look at the Mega. We were definitely satisfied!

I stayed at the hotel from 05/19 to 05/27, 2026, and purchased the trip from the operator Biblio Globus. I chose this hotel because it is located in the city center, which is very convenient. There is a bus stop nearby, a market, a Ferris wheel in front of the hotel, and the sea is nearby. I had a room with a balcony and a view of the mountains. Despite the fact that the hotel is budget-friendly, the room has everything you need, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, large wardrobe. The room is clean, the bed linen is clean, two towels per person. If you have any questions, everything can be resolved with the hotel management. This year, Natalia, the business owner, is a very friendly, responsive woman, you can contact her for any question, she will help you with everything. The hotel has been redecorated. I am happy that I got to this hotel, I recommend it. Thank you to Natalia for your kind attitude and I wish you success in business.

This is not a hotel... unfortunately, there is no way to call this place a hotel. Even 2 stars is too much. It's more like a cross between an old Soviet hotel and a dorm. I think the price is too high. A sagging mattress, a cracked sink, a shower faucet that won't hold, a chipped mirror. View from the window!!! To some old transformer and construction site. In the description it is stated as a mountain view. The photos of the 'hotel' do not reflect reality at all. There is no refrigerator listed in the room! A shabby old house, a former military enlistment office. The doors in the rooms are hand-painted. There are advantages: fw and location. That's all. Old washed curtains and linen are partly old, partly new.
