We had a vacation with my husband in July 2025. The room was booked for superior comfort with a sea view, and the hotel upgraded our category to deluxe with a sea view for free. The number was in the main knowledge. It was very big, we lived together, but the three of us would have been comfortable. The room has a large bed, a folding armchair, a dressing table, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, a mirror, a TV (I don't remember, but it seems without Russian channels), a kettle, mugs, glasses, tea, coffee, sugar. Upon arrival, there are also 2 0.5 bottles of drinking water and 2 bottles of soda. Everything is replenished, soda is less frequent, but you can ask and they will give. There is a table and two chairs on the balcony. The view from the balcony is beautiful))) A very large bathroom with a toilet. Hygiene products include soap, shampoo, and body lotion in large bottles. Towels of 3 pcs.per person. Slippers. One-time wet wipes can be found throughout the hotel. Room cleaning every day. If cleaning is not necessary, put up a sign. At the same time, when you meet cleaning in the corridor, you can ask for water and coffee, they will give you safely. The hotel has a pool bar. He works from 10 a.m. to one or two a.m. From about 12 to 17, you can also order burgers, pizza, burgers, and shawarma there... very tasty. The pool is not very big. There are not many people swimming in it, and as it is written in many reviews, mostly foreigners who hardly swim in the sea near it. After lunch, it gets very warmed up((( There is also a small gym in the same area. My husband went with pleasure. The pool is nearby, so if there is no place on the pier, then it takes 10 seconds to walk from the pool to the sea. The guys always help with umbrellas, blankets, mattress, etc. Towels are free to take and leave during the day by the pool. Access to the sea only from the pier. Don't stand on the bottom, my height is 172, sometimes I could barely stand on the pebbles, at low tide. There were a lot of different fish to feed. There is a public beach nearby, there is sand and you can walk along the bottom. We've been walking and swimming on it. A starfish was also seen there. There are many types of meat, both chicken and lamb. Vegetables, salads, side dishes. There are always a lot of desserts for lunch and dinner, very tasty. For breakfast, we also made individual omelets, scrambled eggs with and without vegetables, and pancakes. Sometimes it was necessary to stand in a queue of 2-3 people. Here, in addition to self-service, you will be served by waiters. As soon as you decide on a table, they will immediately pour you drinking water and bring you the drink you ask for. On Thursdays there were shrimp, squid in sauce (delicious) and sushi (very strange and not tasty) Oh, yes, the waiters serve both at the pool bar and on the beach. By the way, they will ask you where you are going and I will pour a drink either into a beautiful plastic cup or into a glass glass, plastic, respectively, if to the pool or to the sea, glass if at a table. There are a lot of drinks, and juices, and pepsi with its likes, beer, champagne, and various cocktails make delicious, imported whiskey, vodka ... So, the neighborhood...well, there's nowhere to walk, especially in the July heat. Min.20 on foot to the mountains and the ruins of the old mills, in the same direction 20 minutes to the nearest shops and another bay (there are more lively shops and cafes, but the views are not so beautiful) 30 minutes from the mountain and you can come to the port of Bodrum, but Here's a walk back to goruu. You can get to the port by boat. 150 lire per person, in my opinion. At the end of July, the sea was very warm for 9 days out of 12 days, I didn't even understand why they say it's cold in Bodrum. Number: - we lived in 712 with a great view, but the music from neighboring hotels from 22:00 to 00:00 (and sometimes until 03:00 at night) made our inconveniences; - the room itself is tired and very much in places (there are stains and a mess on the table, I'm trying to fix the plumbing, there's an interesting mutation with the floor in the shower, it's made by a bubble, it's traumatic); -there are no accessories such as disposable brushes, chopsticks, etc.; they replenish the water throughout the rest (there was soda at the entrance); - the room cleaning was controversial (the first day was very dirty, then they started mopping the floor and it got better). Meal: - there is always something to choose from; - lots of vegetables and fruits! - meat, fish, side dishes, omelet in the morning; - there is a lot of oil in cooked food, but there is always something less oily.; - good alcohol (we drank wine, aperol) - there are waffles and ice cream in the snack bar. This is probably one of the best hotels you can find in Bodrum. The staff here is just wonderful, as they wrote in the reviews, you can not even get up from the sunbed. There is also a wonderful view of the fortress and the island of Karaada. My sister and I took a Deluxe sea view room, we were given a 618 room, it was the best solution!!! The air conditioner is new, with a touch control panel, the balcony is very large, the bathroom is new! In total, about 6-7 employees speak Russian :) Dinner is just a bomb, there is almost always seafood The only negative: 1)Almost the same breakfast food every day, there is almost no meat, and I don't eat sausages and sausages. 2)The approach is not gentle, but this is not a disadvantage, because there are few children and there is no discomfort from the approach. 3) Wi-fi catches on the leftmost pier, but again, this is not a direct minus, since I was reading books all the time, and not sitting on the phone. There are motion sensors in the elevator halls and corridors for light, so when you get out of the elevator, you enter the corridor - complete darkness, strange ... there is a bar and billiards in the lobby of the main building, but the lights are off and nothing is working... there are absolutely no hotel accessories in the rooms except towels and shower gels in a jar. You don't feel like you're in a hotel, but in a rented apartment. It is clear that the hotel is saving heavily on all this ( -there is nothing else to do in the hotel except lie down, drink and eat. From ordering flowers to arranging a taxi to the airport, by the way, it's worth getting 1800TL from the hotel to the airport if you want to sleep longer with an early departure, rather than circling Bodrum with a tourist transfer 5 hours before departure) It takes 40 minutes to drive. I also want to mention the work of the waiters and bartenders at the pool bar. I won't say that I was very quick, but I was always attentive to the guests, we most often ordered milkshakes and coffee. Small tips greatly increased the speed of service.For alcohol, there is an imported one-it is necessary to specifically say the name, draft beer. Another very pleasant option to get to the center is a water taxi. We paid 200 lira, it takes about 7 minutes to sail, and you will be taken directly to Bodrum Marina. The sea trip itself is already turning into a small walk. When booking, be sure to take into account the specifics of the hotel's territory. If the room is not located in the main building, there will be quite a lot of stairs, so it is better to keep this point in mind in advance for people who find it difficult to walk or climb a lot. For us personally, this was completely compensated by the views: the hotel offers simply magnificent panoramas of the bay of Bodrum and the sea. The rooms themselves are not in the main building, they are quite tired, I hope that they will be renovated soon. Food The food doesn't have any restaurant frills, but you definitely won't stay hungry. There is almost always fish, chicken, and meat, so you can easily choose something to your liking. The breakfasts are quite typical: eggs in different versions, cheeses, sausages, pide. I really liked the desserts, and a separate plus for the honey in the honeycomb at breakfast. The food is constantly being updated, so there is no situation when there are empty dishes and you have to wait for something to be brought. The restaurant is located on an outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of the sea, so even a regular breakfast there turns into a pleasant part of the day. And then there are some unrealistic desserts. Usually in Turkish hotels, desserts are only delicious in appearance, but here they were very good - this is a separate plus! Service The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Many of the waiters speak Russian, so there were no problems with communication. They will always help, bring tea, coffee or a drink that you ask for. Sea and beach It is also important to understand the specifics of the hotel. It does not have its own classic beach, the entrance to the sea goes from the pier and immediately to the depth. For those who like to swim, this is great, but for small children or those who are not very confident on the water, the option is not the most obvious. At the end of August, the water seemed cool enough. It's a little hard to get in for the first few minutes, but after about 3 minutes you get used to it. When the wind is blowing, the water feels even cooler, so you definitely shouldn't rely on warm "fresh milk". And generally Bodrum is quite windy. On some days, the wind was almost invisible, and on others it was quite strong, so if you take a hat with you, hold it tight, otherwise it may well go on an independent journey. Swimming pool and entertainment There is only one swimming pool in the hotel and it is deep enough, plus there is a small children's pool of about 40 cm. At the same time, the small pool is almost empty, even families with young children often go to the large pool. There are all kinds of foam pads and other things for swimming. There is no animation in the hotel, so it is definitely worth considering when choosing. In general, I would say that the hotel is rather not aimed at children, although there were quite a lot of children on vacation. From entertainment there is ping pong and billiards, and then you need to entertain yourself on your own. At the same time, the lack of animation did not bother us at all. In Bodrum, it is much more interesting to leave the hotel, walk around the city and see the surroundings. Bodrum We really liked the city itself. There is a place to walk, what to see, where to sit, go shopping. If you want to make a full-fledged shopping experience, you can take a bus from Bodrum to the Midtown Shopping Center. There are H&M, Mango and other famous stores there, but Zara, as far as I remember, is not. The fare costs about 42 lira. You can pay with a card, and if there is no card, you can ask another passenger to pay for you and give him cash. Excursion On my birthday, we took a sunset yacht tour from the tour operator. It turned out to be about $ 150 per person. The yacht was nice, with only about 15 people, so there was no crowd. The food was delicious: there was chicken or fish, we got dorada, and it was really delicious. And the format of a sunset yacht trip turned out to be a great way to celebrate a birthday. Very beautiful views, sea, sunset, good atmosphere. We were satisfied. Which spoiled the impression a bit. The only serious unpleasant moment occurred on the way home. Pegasus cancelled our flight, so we couldn't leave Turkey for a day. Of course, this was due to external circumstances and news that neither we nor the tour operator could influence. At the same time, Pegasus provided us with accommodation and meals, and after a day we were still able to fly home. Result Overall, the rest turned out to be very good. La Quinta by Wyndham Bodrum is definitely not the hotel to choose for the sake of animation, a huge beach or a super diverse diet. Its strengths are completely different: excellent location, proximity to Bodrum, beautiful views, the sea, pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to combine a relaxing holiday with walks around the city. If you understand the hotel's features in advance, especially the large number of stairs, the lack of a private beach and animation, then a vacation here may well turn out to be excellent. We liked Bodrum and the hotel itself, and were generally satisfied with the trip.
