A very picturesque place to explore the culture of Korea. The beautiful pavilions of the palace can be viewed for a very long time. The entrance ticket cost 3,000 won, which is about 150 rubles at the time of writing the review. You can also enter the palace for free by renting a local costume. A lot of tourists were photographed in costumes) You can sit and relax on the territory of the palace, but there is nowhere to buy water / food, keep in mind. We were in hot weather. I had to look for a shade to hide a little from the sun)

Visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace was a real discovery for me and a real journey into the past. As a traveler, I always strive not just to see new places, but to feel their atmosphere, learn about the history and understand the culture of the people. In Gyeongbokgung, all this was fully achieved. The palace impresses with its grandeur and harmony: each pavilion, gate and garden seems to tell about the life of the Korean monarchs, their traditions and values. Where the fate of the country was once decided. Walking through the spacious courtyards and admiring the colorful roofs, I felt the breath of centuries and respect for the heritage of the Korean people. It was very interesting for me to study the history and culture of Korea here, among the ancient walls and monuments. I learned a lot about the rituals, architecture, and lifestyle of the royal family. Every corner of the palace holds its own secrets and legends that you want to unravel. It is a great honor for me to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace. This place is not only inspiring, but also fills with deep respect for Korean culture and its respect for the past. I am leaving here with a sense of gratitude and a desire to return again to discover even more amazing pages of Korean history.

I am also impressed by the main palace in Seoul. It extends over several hectares. There are a lot of pavilions, from the main imperial to the chambers of concubines and servants. I liked the atmosphere of Gyeongbokgung and the perfect cleanliness of the territory. There is a place near the palace where you can rent historical clothes, we really didn't do it, it was a bit hot for me, plus 30 in May, but it was an embarrassment that you were in a historical drama.

It's one of the best places I've been. A real immersion in the history of Korea is beautiful, large—scale and very atmospheric. The architecture is amazing: carved gates, graceful roofs, picturesque pavilions against the backdrop of mountains — everything looks like on a postcard. Admission is almost free — about 150 rubles per person (about 3,000 won). You can even enter for free if you come in hanbok (traditional costume), which is also part of the cultural experience. It's very colorful inside, especially if you get to the changing of the guard ceremony at the main gate. The territory is large, you can walk for hours. The only negative is that there are a lot of people, especially on weekends and holidays, but the place is worth it. I recommend it to everyone who will be in Seoul. This is not just a tourist destination, it is a place where you can truly feel the spirit of Korea.

I didn't know you could leave a review here either... so that's it. I was in 2024 at the end of October. To be honest, as a resident of St. Petersburg, I spent my entire childhood visiting museums, and for me this is an incredible palace. It's empty inside, I've gone around everything. Literally. There are only a couple of things you can skip - the "royal kitchen" and the library. The library has a timetable and is free. There is a separate ticket to the kitchen and you need to look in advance at how to buy. I bought an entrance ticket because it's more profitable than hanbok (aka trad.suit) There will be a lot of people at the entrance and outside the gate, the rest of the palace will be empty of people, you can take a bunch of photos. In general, for 3 thousand won, it may not be much, but it is very empty. By the way, there is more in my life than in the game black desert, partly I have been in the same place literally in the game and in my life!!! Unfortunately, you can't attach photos from the film, it's 4k.

The kit includes the hanbok itself and a handbag. You can also do your hair for an additional fee. There are many shops with hanbok rentals, they are located next to the palace along its entire length. It is very beautiful inside the palace. I don't know how it is on normal days, but we were lucky enough to see one scene and a demonstrative changing of the guard, it was interesting. The only thing IS, if you choose a different costume (not hanbok), then the entrance will be paid for you, in our tour 2 girls got so fucked up))) The time spent in the palace is unlimited, but, of course, within the working schedule of the palace itself)
