We came to the glorious city of Vitebsk to relax for a couple of days. And we decided to go to this place. In short. The service was just average, I had to go to the menu myself, the order was not repeated after recording, which caused the grilled vegetables to get lost in the fog, and there was no awareness of the promotions posted on Instagram (in our case, it was free champagne on Wednesday) Cuisine - we ordered beef carpaccio, rib eye steak and pork neck. Let's start with the good thing - I really liked the steak, it was undercooked as I like it - medium rare almost turned out and it rarely happens. At the same time, the size of the steak was good. Baked garlic is also included. Pork neck is a bit greasy - I don't know where the pig has fat on its neck, but this one apparently had several chins. But the highlight of the program is the carpaccio: it was served semi-thawed. There is nothing wrong with the preparations, but you need to know the measure - if the meat tolerates it well (although it was still crispy around the edge from the freezer anyway), then goat cheese (or whatever it was) does not survive after freezing. It blurs and loses its taste due to ice crystals that simply tear the texture. Carpaccio is a chilled snack, not a frozen one) Tea and lemonade are OK. The entourage is okay too. It's hard to expect anything incredible from the restaurant, which is based on the second floor of the train station - nevertheless, the floor and large windows were inherited here. But it's still nice and lamp-like - pleasant music is playing, there are lamps that imitate flashes of fire. To summarize, I would put 4/5. The restaurant is not perfect and there is room to grow in the professionalism of the team and the serving of dishes, but the taste itself is good, and this is the main thing for me. There is a base and I hope next time in Vitebsk this restaurant will shine brighter than before. P.S. The field of communication with the waiter - write a simple phrase for yourself - discounts do not add up and you will get rid of all questions)

They literally force you to finish eating everything, even if you don't like it, even sauces. 3. If you like the dish, you cannot cancel it, otherwise you will pay the full price. The level of food is like in an expensive dining room. The service is one of the dishes that just didn't arrive. For understanding, our order has several items, we would have ordered them for the same price without the promotion. Part of the menu is unlimited on the stop, no replacement was offered. We ordered two sets! The order arrived quickly, but I couldn't really eat. Couldn't get enough. At the time of payment, when I gave the confirmation documents that it was my birthday, the waiter came to me and informed me that they could not make a discount!!! I was FURIOUS, to put it mildly! That when I checked with them both on the phone and on the spot at the institution, no one informed me that the discount would not be valid! Then I would have chosen something else and maybe I would have been full and satisfied on my birthday! I paid the required 100%. She left on her birthday on a negative! When you wait 40+ minutes for an order, it can't leave a pleasant feeling even if you're not in a hurry. Waiters, even if the room is not very full, do not remove dishes from the tables, they get confused in orders. The result is such a mixed impression when everything seems to be beautiful and delicious, but something is definitely wrong.

My husband and I had beef carpaccio, cappuccino, salad with shrimp and tom yam sauce, potatoes with pork and chanterelles. We wanted to take grilled vegetables, but we were informed that it would take at least 40 minutes, provided that no one else was there at that time. As a carpaccio lover, I bet exactly zero. The beef is watery, it has just been defrosted in the microwave, and, most disgusting of all, it's an incomprehensible few cubes of unidentified cheese straight from the freezer. Crunching on ice rather than eating cheese is not very pleasant. A couple of herbs (arugula and spinach), only a piece of lemon was normal. The tom yam salad was not bad. But in the potatoes with chanterelles, there were clearly not chanterelles in some places, but something else from mushrooms, sauerkraut... Her husband didn't even continue eating. The meat looked more like pork, but perhaps it was still beef after the freezer, which had been stewed so much that it looked like pork. The coffee is delicious. We decided that we would not go there anymore, unfortunately. 🤷🏻♀️

This time there was some kind of mess: I was with my husband, we ordered two meat dishes, salad, bruschetta and dessert, and there were still questions about serving and dishes.The pork neck (in my opinion) is dry, the beef stroganoff in the picture looks delicious (it's my favorite dish, so I'm scrupulous about it), but in life it's very sad and the meat is strange, tasteless, like boiled, in short, I make it tastier at home, unfortunately, plus for some reason onion crumbs, which is for decoration very strong, it hurt my teeth a little. I liked the beetroot salad last time, so we ordered it this time too - there's no question. For some reason, the bruschetta came after the salad and beef stroganoff (the serving was wrong, it was an appetizer, I specially ordered it so as not to starve while the meat was being made, but I hadn't eaten since morning, I really wanted something quick), and the menu said "toasted", but in fact no, or undercooked (how can bread be undercooked?) by the way, it's very strange in terms of time - you don't need to cook fish and cheese, just toast bread and set off, why it took half an hour to cook is a mystery. The strudel is delicious, but why it was cooked for 45-50 minutes instead of 30 minutes is sad. And another question about the music program: we arrived 50 minutes before it and were warned that it was paid, so that we could have time to eat, otherwise we would have to pay? It's kind of very voluntary and forced. I think that money should be taken from those who come during the program, not before, but these are just thoughts.

The receptionist, after asking twice about the details of the reservation (date, time, number of guests), at the end of the conversation, without saying goodbye, asked if we planned to stay after 20:00 due to the start of live music with an additional fee of 15 rubles per person (booked at 18:00). Upon arrival at the restaurant, it turned out that there was no reservation in our name. Nevertheless, we were seated on the second floor. The waiter promised to find out about the status of the order in response to our question, but did not return with the information. I highly recommend not visiting this place: the evening is ruined, time is wasted.

But I am glad that they helped with charging on the phone. As for the food, the trout pancakes disappointed. They weren't even draniki, but hash browns. The trout was completely tasteless. There was absolutely curdled cream in the carbonara. There is little pleasant in such pasta. The mojito jug didn't have a lid that would separate the mint and other herbs from the drink.

With the hall half-empty on Saturday, they gave a table at the exit, where it was blowing hard and it was cold. After the request, another table with sofas was provided. For my personal taste, I didn't like the live music that evening. The dishes are very small. The chicken kebab consists of five very small pieces. The eggplant salad contains mainly tomatoes. The burger was served barely warm with a cold cutlet inside. The red wine was excessively chilled, as if from a refrigerator. Very tasty lemonade and apple strudel. Friendly and courteous staff. The hall is very beautiful, majestic, with high ceilings and magnificent chandeliers, but the hall is very cold, if you do not dance, then it is chilly in it. And this is at a plus temperature outside. I expected more from this institution.
