This is a historical place. Older people know it as Cafe Vostok, but it's more familiar simply as Montana. Even without the addition of "cafe". The cuisine corresponds to the Georgian style. Well, it's just average. We ordered 6 pieces of khinkali and waited for 30-40 minutes. And in the end, they also brought 5 instead of 6.And they're tiny. They didn't wait another 20 minutes for one khinkali, paid for what they had eaten and left. The assorted phali is delicious, and the eggplant rolls too. Of course, they were brought quickly (the billet). The room doesn't smell much, but it does. It's probably coming from the kitchen. Or the extractor hood is not working properly in the hall. The service is also kind of sad. They found a place to sit themselves, and the menu arrived quickly enough, but they were in no hurry to take the order. In short, we won't come again.

My family and I were passing through Brest today, decided to have lunch and stopped at 40 Khinkalnya Gogol. The service is disgusting, the cook is disgusting. Beef with veins and fat. We could not accommodate a family of 4 people on the summer terrace, there is no capacity, neither the administrator nor the waiter could resolve the issue (the terrace floor was empty). It seemed like a mockery, the tea was already cold in 50 minutes, because it was brought immediately. They turned around and left in shock, and the order was khachipuri. I didn't want to write a negative review because it's one of my favorite places. But today (03.03.2025, time 21:10 approximately) there was a quiet horror. We sat down at a table directly opposite the kitchen. In an institution with 3-4 tables, we were first served an order for 30 minutes, and then it turned out that there was a problem with the order. We ordered 16 khinkali, and in the end they brought us 8, and we also had a heated discussion (and we all heard it) that maybe we will refuse. But we really wanted to eat, so we decided to eat at least 8 pieces. And while the two girls were cooking khinkali for us, they chatted and had fun with loud music that interrupted the music in the hall. Not surprisingly, there were problems with the order. And it was scary to look at these long-suffering Khinkali. This is the first time they brought it to us. Of the 8 khinkali, 3 were torn. And there are nail prints on all the tails. I am attaching a photo. The evening was ruined.
