“When the name for the place speaks for itself” At a young age, almost everyone has wondered where to spend an unconventional night when any pastime no longer energises you. Even though you’re not quite as ‘young’ as you might like to be, “Charisma” has something for you. The Friends Hall, which is a fancy karaoke bar, PlayStation and hookah lounge all in one, is located only a stone’s throw away from Sukharevskaya metro station and is open 24/7. You will spend your non-ordinary time in one of the private rooms designed in predominantly dark tones, with blackout curtains framing the panoramic windows. Each is equipped with everything you might need to catch THE vibe: a modern sound system with a wide range of songs available and microphones, a PlayStation console, a large screen and incredibly comfortable black leather sofas. Combined with the dim lighting and your favourite music, all of this will make you feel like melting into each note. Unlike many other karaoke bars, this one stands out by allowing guests to bring their own food and drinks completely free of charge. So, if its menu doesn’t suit your preferences, you’re free to enjoy whatever you like. By the way, you can easily find countless eateries nearby, if you feel like having another meal — that’s another huge plus of Charisma. Ironically, one of the minor drawbacks, as well as the advantage, is privacy. Your musical taste and vocal skills can accidentally be judged by other visitors or staff, as sounds from the rooms can be heard quite clearly outside. Once you discover this little detail, you may suddenly find yourself feeling less like a solo performer and more like a contestant on Russia’s “The Voice” show. :) On the whole, it’s certainly not to be missed! If you’re confident enough in your vocal skills and want to enjoy a one-of-a-kind pastime with friends, do not bypass this place. You’ll definitely remember it!
