The Kaufhof Gallery is located opposite the New Town Hall on Marienplatz (slightly to the right), but there is also an entrance from Karlsplatz, so it's crowded. Five floors up and two down, the department store is simply huge, each floor is reserved for separate departments: women's, men's, children's, shoe, grocery stores on the ground floor, cafes and restaurants on the fifth. On New Year's Eve, the shopping complex turns into a fabulous territory: brilliant illumination, various toys, fragrant pastries, German, Swiss chocolate, hot and cold drinks add a festive atmosphere. Most often we buy toys for children (of all the toys, the children liked the glowing Jedi laser sword), T-shirts, jeans, shoes and cosmetics. There is a beautiful fountain at the entrance from Karlsplatz Stachus.
