Give cinemas one more chance! Have you ever wondered why film culture has changed so much that we've started going to cinemas less often on a mass scale? Streaming services have become very extensive and popular instead… I, for one, am also a well-versed Netflix user. Well, having recently come across an advertisement for a "Kill Bill" movie showing, generally, who was I to refuse the opportunity to rewatch it for the 4th time in a row? Moreover, I haven't been to the cinema in a long time. Which is how I found myself back in a "Karo" cinema… The first thing to mention is this place's perfect location. "Karo" is located in the absolute edgiest place in the center of the city- the Arbat street. While you're walking there, it's easy to see Moscow-city high-rises, some old stunning buildings and even the Kremlin. Well, as you have already guessed, a movie theatre in such a location cannot be plain-looking. Unlike the other cinemas I've been to, the interior really has its own charm: red carpets, cute sofas to sit on while you are waiting, huge movie posters hanging, creating the atmosphere, and a rich and familiar popcorn smell is everywhere. I pointed out two utterly pleasurable things, but they are not the main pros I noticed. The key one for me was the soft velvet armchairs, which made sitting through the long screening not a problem at all. They are not only comfortable, but also make you feel like you are not on your home sofa, but in a cinema. How I wish I had the same armchairs in my university! Not everything, however, was that perfect. The only thing that let it down was a very long commercial. Before the film started, viewers had to watch 20 minutes of tedious advertisement videos. Everyone, including me, was already tired. In the end, I would definitely recommend the "Karo" cinema. Combining all the reasons I've noted before, I want to say that choosing home screening as the only possible option is a big mistake. Cinemas like "Karo" prove that the big screen experience is still something special :the atmosphere, the comfortable seats, and the feeling of sharing a film with a people with common interests. Give cinemas one more chance and you may just fall in love with them all over again!

Были с подругами в Москве и заранее решили зайти в этот кинотеатр, потому что хотели купить киномерч Каро. Сам кинотеатр очень приятный и красивый. Мы очень долго гуляли по бару, там продаётся куча игрушек и вкусняшек на любой вкус, аж глаза разбегаются. Отдельное спасибо хочется сказать персоналу. Администраторы по нашей просьбе проверили, есть ли те вещи, которые мы хотели, помогли с выбором, а потом ещё и с оплатой помогли. Очень внимательные. В следующий раз, когда будем в Москве, обязательно вернёмся. У себя в городе тоже всегда выбираю Каро 👍🏻
