We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Azerbaijan. I want to be objective. Positive: The rooms are really clean and well cleaned. The bed linen is of high quality, pleasant to the touch. The bed is comfortable, I slept well (if not for one "but"). Everything you need in the room is there, compact and neat. The disadvantage that outweighs: The window of my room overlooks the interior of the hotel, meaning there is no fresh air coming in from the street. Only the air conditioner was working (it looks like a pseudo-mode, without air intake from the outside). As a result, the room is constantly stuffy and it is difficult to breathe, especially at night. Because of this stuffiness, I can't put it above three. For me, the opportunity to ventilate the room is an important criterion of comfort. If there had been proper ventilation or windows facing the street, I would have scored a solid five.

A good chain hotel, we stay in the Accor chain often (Ibis, Novotel)- the quality standards of the chain are unchanged. High-quality full-fledged breakfasts. The price-quality location is great - hiking enthusiasts (us) can walk to any place along beautiful streets or the embankment, metro lovers - it's nearby. Chain grocery stores, if necessary, within a 7-minute walk (Araz , Bravo) WiFi is working fine.

Very pleasant hotel and good location. 2 minutes from the metro and 30 minutes walk from the center. The rooms are simple, even austere, but there is everything you need to stay. A good sleeping place, high-quality and clean bed linen. Water is replenished daily, cooler on the floor, tea and coffee in the room. Check-in took 1 minute upon pre-registration! I would like to mention the breakfasts - for 3 stars - it's just gorgeous! Very tasty coffee, lots of cotton products) traditional cheeses, it seems that the buffet is very small, but you definitely won't be hungry, everything was incredibly delicious. There is a metro nearby, you can walk to the white embankment and there are various cafes not far away. There were no problems with the Internet. If we would come again, definitely yes.

I recommend this hotel to everyone. It is located within walking distance from the city center in a quiet location. The rooms are clean, there is everything: safe, TV, hairdryer. There is cleaning every day, even a bottle of water is brought, although there is a cooler with drinking water in the hallway. Breakfast is rated 5-plus. There is everything from sausage and ham with cheese to porridges and yoghurts, fruits, vegetables, waffles, hot dishes, desserts, etc., and most importantly, coffee and tea in the assortment and all kinds of juices. I really liked it. The breakfast is varied, everything is delicious. There were supplies in the room (comb, slippers, shaving and hygiene kits). The interior is stylish and modern. When you need to leave at 12, we were offered to extend it for free to 14 hours. It was very pleasant, especially since it was +30 outside and the plane was several hours away. The Hatai metro is a couple of houses away, convenient, fast and cheap. Not far from the embankment is the white city park and the embankment. The room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. It's always clean. The renovation is fresh. The interior is stylish. Many wrote that it was not convenient that there was water in the cooler in the corridor, but it did not bother us. We just went with a 1.5 liter bottle, so as not to run around often with their small jug. The only small disadvantage is that the fruits were not tasty and some vegetables, peaches, plums, strawberries, watermelon, melon, everything is beautiful, but not tasty. But we bought fruits and vegetables in the store and at the market, they were tastier, but also not wow! And in a cafe near the hotel they found where they sell sliced beautiful, delicious and sweet watermelons!

Excellent hotel in a good area, clean, quite cozy room, friendly and helpful staff. The air conditioner works well, Wi-Fi is available, there were no problems with the Internet. Breakfast was included in the price and we did not regret it - a good assortment of buffet dishes (traditional gatyk, cottage cheese, omelet, porridge, interesting pastries, vegetables and fruits). There were Indians, Arabs, Turks, Belarusians and Kazakhs in the neighbors, they treated each other with respect! We also used the laundry service - everything was washed and ironed in the best possible way during the first half of the day. The metro is within walking distance, near the metro there is a VTB ATM that allows you to withdraw manats from the Mir card (Visa of Russian banks is not readable).

It's kind of weird for an Ibis. Let's start with the location, it stands right by the road, but the sound insulation is good, the noise of cars did not bother. The window in the room is locked with a key, to open it, you need to call the reception. The bed linen is a separate story, the sheet is smaller than the bed itself, constantly crawled out, the bed creaks (room 402), the blanket is synthetic, constantly under it like in a bath, the pillows are flimsy. There is no battery in the bathroom, you get out of the shower and freeze. The cosmetics are really good. If you want to watch YouTube, you need to go get an additional TV remote control. The restaurant is a separate story. I ordered Ramen, but it turned out to be just chicken soup. Moreover, the noodles were for fettuccine pasta. Well, OK, edible and okay. Breakfast is a special song. I went down and paid, they didn't give me a check, they just called the restaurant and said that breakfast was paid for. Question: was it breached, and if it was not breached, where did the money go? Breakfast is meager and tasteless, so a snack is all. In general, the hotel is not bad, you need to work with the staff if you belong to the Accor grid. They don't know how to communicate with a guest using a script at all.

It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the center by metro (3 metro stations). The hotel itself: friendly staff, our room was small but clean. There is not enough kettle in the room for living, but there is a cooler in the hallway. There are rooms with Windows to the inner "courtyard", not to the street. The elevator is only for passes. The choice for breakfast is small, but delicious. Pastries, eggs in different formats, fruits (in June there were strawberries, apricots, apples, bananas, etc.), cheese of 3 types. Sausage, etc. I recommend. What is especially pleasant, for breakfast, the staff always looks after the cleanliness of the tables, it is always clean, they can help bring something if you ask. Towels are changed every day, garbage is taken out. Hair dryer in the room, iron on several floors.

For a 3-star hotel, the Ibis demonstrates a good level of service and amenities. The hotel is very well located. The location provides easy access to all key points of Baku. There are public transport stops nearby, and you can quickly get to the central attractions by taxi or even take a walk if the weather permits. All the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, were polite, attentive and ready to help in any situation. The check-in and eviction took place quickly and without any hitches. Any requests or questions were dealt with promptly and with a smile. It is felt that the Ibis Baku City team sincerely cares about the comfort of its guests. The Ibis Baku City is a great example of how a 3–star hotel can offer good value for money. There are no frills here, but everything that is there works perfectly: cleanliness, comfort, functionality and, most importantly, friendly and professional staff.

There are quite a few cafes within walking distance to have a snack or a hearty meal. Of the cons: there was an unpleasant smell in the room on the day of arrival, but then it disappeared. There was also an emergency staircase behind the wall, which many people use very often, and slam doors. I did not like that the windows in the room did not open, and when asked to give the key to the lock on the window, they replied that it was not allowed. In general, everything was fine with us, I can recommend this hotel!
